I can see the spiral that led me to put my beautiful Mcnaab down last year. I wish to Christ I had seen this. Last year. She got so bad , nothing worked it just took her over the ledge. The suffering for both of us was intolerable in the end. 8 yrs of apoquil , I would have gladly paid your price.

By the end of this episode, you’ll understand:

Vet wanted to put him on meds. I tried a probiotic instead.

Thank you enjoyed watching. But as a herbalist and i grow pretty much all my own food and animal food . It would be nice to have recipes from what we are geoinf instead of having to spend hundreds of dollars on products out of a bottle. I mlik my own goats and glcows and make my own yogurt. Im also a bee keeper and i have started my catahoula on propolis and in 2 weeks im seeign an improvement after a whole year of struggling with his skin issues . Going to a vet over and over. Now after a month of my yogurt and hiney and propolis im seeing drastic imrpivements but still bot all the way there . Im interested in biying a protcol kit but im also interested in somehow building one from my homestead. Wish you had more remedies for us .

I have three bulldogs and they have allergies but I would never even think of putting them down over allergies. They are family. Would you put down a person with allergies? 😮 No. You try everything and medical medicine is not the answer. There are natural remedies if you look hard enough. That’s what YouTube is for.

I did a leaky gut protocol on my young lab. He weighed about 60 lbs. I went through 5 bottles of the liver tonic. So I guess I did it 5 times . I took him to a Naturopath after that and she said he had no Candida so she said it must have worked. However he still itches. I have given him no pharmaceuticals after the two puppy vaxes. 11 weeks and 17 weeks. He has been dewormed. Any ideas.

52:20 Natural Solutions for Skin Allergies

58:58 Building a Step-by-Step Protocol

HERE is a solution that worked for my dog who had been inundated with skin yeast...which had caused intense itching. Tried all the vet solutions to no success and tons of $.

Finally, I discovered a solution which has kept my dog free of yeast and itching for the last 6 years:

SHAMPOO with human NIZORAL (an over-the-counter antifungal shampoo. Its active ingredient is KETOCONAZLE. (controls itching, scratching, dandruff, scaling and flaking.)

When you begin this...give your dog a bath weekly with NIZORAL shampoo until yeast is undercontrol. (approx 3-5 weekly shampoos)

SECOND part of the TREATMENT:
1 capsule of a PROBIOTIC each day. I open the capsule and pour contents into a large Greenies Pill Pocket and pinch top closed to contain the little ingredients. (My dog readily eats this probiotic disguised into a soft treat. She has no idea this is medicine.)

That's It! Both a SKIN and a GUT treatment intervention. But, when I have run out of probiotics for a period, the intense itching has returned. Stay Consistent!
Good Luck...this has worked so well for me..
made my dog so relaxed and comfortable, which made me feel like a better dog parent.

Our vet seems to clueless as to why our pit is so itchy? He’s in great condition. I was cooking for him super healthy food and with chicken so I asked if it was the chicken. She said nah, doubt it. He won’t stay away from his butt. Chewed the hair completely off parts of his tail. I asked is it his glands? She expressed them saying, nah. There’s NO ODOR either at anytime so we’re all clueless?? She put him on a drug Gabapentin. After one dose I threw it away. He was like a zombie and had nightmares constantly! Now she says put him on Zyrtec and use essential oil. Idk but getting damn frustrated having NO answers after tons of money going into their clinic‼️😡 we changed his diet to salmon. Recently so she said it may take 3 months to notice a change? Idk? We feel so bad for him though it’s heartbreaking 😭

Our beautiful black ex feral cat and my husband and I are currently going through treatment for a ? Food allergy. She is on hypoallergenic Purina dry cat food and hates it. She has been a great meat lover since we had her from a rescue. 8 years ago. She was on an all meat no additives diet from Katkin and loved the variety for a year now. Suddenly her rear end fur and both flanks were very thin on hair and she was vigorously cleaning her self most of the time. She is gradually growing hair again after 3 months of Purina dry food and once a month steroid injections. I have introduced a little boiled cod every morning and the dry food in the evening. She seems a lot happier this last week. I am not happy about her having any more steroid injections after reading the side effect of long term steroids. She has lost half a kg since on the dry food and her back legs are showing sign of muscle wastage and weakness when jumping up or down. Do you have any advice on where to go from here?

I am halfway through the video. What about seasonal allergies? How can it be the food when the problem is seasonal? As soon as the grass grows in December the itch starts. By June, he has infection, so by August he is on antibiotics, then December comes again.
I am so disappointed in everyone including myself for not being able to find a solution for my boy. He whines cause of the itchiness (i put an Elisabethan collar so he cant lick) and he has bleeding wounds. 😢
I give him omega 3, quercetin with bromelain, colostrum, veggies, probiotics, curcumin with black pepper and a natural antiparasitic every 3 months.
I feel hopeless.

This is such great information. Thank you! I have an 11 year old Cocker Spaniel who has had numerous ear infections, skin growths and food sensitivities. He has taken Apoquel for years, and now is on Cyclosporine, prednisone and gabapentin. I have been begging for natural alternatives as it makes me sick to give him all of these drugs! As he now just started having seizures.
I will be looking into starting some of the protocols.
Do you have recipes or resources for the fresh food? We currently feed Honest Kitchen Duck formula.

My Aussie has had terrible allergies since I had her full panel shots. Before that she never had allergies. It’s been a long battle for 4 years. She started itching constantly and UTIs over and over. Her ear started swelling, she went from a healthy vibrant dog to an insecure sickly dog. I did the allergy shots for the itching, the antibiotic’s for the bleeding utis, she constantly suffered. Then she became allergic to flea pill, slobbering and panting after taking one. It’s been a nightmare! I have cried, I have lost sleep and I have felt guilt for giving her the full panel shots that were recommended by vet if she was ever kenneled. I know her and my life changed after that day.
Now after lots of research and trial and error I make all her dog food….Ground turkey, carrots, green beans, two cooked eggs, brown rice, cold pressed olive oil, and Greek yogurt has seemed to help her a lot. She also jumps up and down full of excitement at feeding time! She loves it!! No more snacks, treats etc unless it’s homemade. She only drinks reverse osmosis water and a fountain and it has a filter too. I regularly check for fleas and she is groomed every two months. I’ve noticed her teeth are much cleaner and white since stopping the kibble and processed canned dog food. We used to feed our dogs natural foods and the media and vet world said don’t feed pets scraps, human food etc. only so we would buy the processed dog and cat food. The truth is all coming out now. I can almost say I don’t trust vets anymore because they have been pressured to turn this all into a money making operation. Any questions someone has please ask because we have been through the wringer! I use peppermint collars on my pets instead of those toxic insect chemicals and the treats that affect their nervous system to keep fleas at bay. I plan to have my whole entire yard sprayed with a non toxic solution this year too. It’s a lot of retraining what we have been taught, your life will change for you and your dog… this lady is speaking the truth!! Thank you mam! Also witch hazel helps the ear by cleaning and reducing swelling.

Apoquel killed my dog who had skin issues. He got a fibrosarcoma on his jaw, after several years of giviing him Apoquel due to skin issues. My vet assured me the Apoquel was safe. She was a very caring vet, but I think she was mis-informed.

One of my dogs was diagnosed with sebaceous atopica. I found out she would be on Atopica medication for life in case she had an outbreak. In that case it would lessen the outbreak. I thought this is nuts to take drugs in case something happens. I had recently read people with auto immune issues were treating them by eating carnivore. I thought my dog is a carnivore and my dogs were already eating air dried food so we adopted a full raw/species appropriate diet. I contacted a homeopathic animal consultant and we got my dog off her medication and she hasn’t had an outbreak in 2 years. She does still suffer from itchy spots, in particularly yeast in her ears, and I am working on solving that problem. I suspect immunizations are the cause of her body going into attack mode. My other dogs of the same age, living in the same environment, have no health issues.

Started my pup on the leaky gut protocol and kangaroo only diet. She doesnt appear to have a yeast issue? I did see results as soon as she started the probiotics but has been itching more the last 2 days but the air has been very dry. -28 C in northern bc right now. We have a vet app in 3 more days to rule out thyroid or hormonal issues since she is still intact. She has only had her parvo vaxes, i held off on rabies thankfully but i cannot get her spayed while her immune system is out of wack . Praying we can find a natural solution and hoping her vet is pro naturalpathic remedies. I dont want to destroy her immune system. Shes only 10 months old.
