Nashville Walking Tour - Downtown, Broadway & Honky-Tonk - Tennessee, USA
Video Overview & Insights
Nashville is the capital and most populous city of the Nashville is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Tennessee. The city is the county seat of Davidson County and is located on the Cumberland River. Named for Francis Nash, a general of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, the city was founded in 1779. The city grew quickly due to its strategic location as a port on the Cumberland River and, in the 19th century, a railroad center. Nashville seceded with Tennessee during the American Civil War; in 1862 it was the first state capital in the Confederacy to fall to Union troops. After the war, the city reclaimed its position and developed a manufacturing base.

The inhabitants of the earth.
Since 1963, Nashville has had a consolidated city-county government, which includes six smaller municipalities in a two-tier system. The city is governed by a mayor, a vice-mayor, and a 40-member metropolitan council; 35 of the members are elected from single-member districts, while the other five are elected at-large. Reflecting the city's position in state government, Nashville is home to the Tennessee Supreme Court's courthouse for Middle Tennessee, one of the state's three divisions.
Many music clubs and honky-tonk bars are in downtown Nashville, particularly the area encompassing Lower Broadway, Second Avenue, and Printer's Alley, which is often referred to as "the District".
I have to say Nashville looks like the best city in the south compared to the ghetto shitholes of houston or atlanta etc. Hope to visit one day. Other southern cities like Dallas feel like an absolute ghost down compared to Nashville. Another thing that surprises me a bit is how white/caucasian and seemingly cosmopolitan it is for a southern city, like most in that part of the country is like 90% black people in the urban areas, white people in the rural areas or suburbs.

It’s changed a lot since back then when this was filmed. Now, there’s no parking at all on lower broadway. And the streets are packed with people.

@Me-life77Sorry some of the people seemed less to be thrilled to be on camera and were disrespectful which I'm sure they were in hundreds of strangers photos over their stay. I loved the video! Keep doing what you're doing.
@nick-stuartOf course there are social problems in the United States and serious ones. Now people in America have the least and the easiest access to things. Just to give an example for the North Americans, in Brazil the bank interest on a credit card is around 14% per month, a loan of 100 thousand dollars that you take out in a bank to pay, let's say in 24/36 months , you will pay the trifle of about 450 thousand dollars to the bank. And the average income of Brazilians is almost 15 times lower than the average North American income. In Latin American countries you die working and get nowhere. The tax burden is also an absurd 73% tax on a car, and all products include taxes on the order of 43 to 53% of the product value. Value of tuition fees for bad private schools, a real absurdity, practically 50% of the average income of a family. There is no punishment for criminality, the laws facilitate the release of all types of criminals, and so on... terrible countries to live in.
@claudiapapiniayala4123We Love Tennessee from Iran 🇺🇲❤️🇮🇷
