Not sure where to post my specific comment but I am very troubled. Two weeks ago I got A kitten, even though I have a physical disability I always wanted a cat since I live alone. My kitten needs alot of attention, I play with her several times a day sometimes even more to get her more tired because otherwise she does naughty things. The last couple day's have been harder and harder on me physically but also mentally. I am in more pain because I tried to play with her as much as I can but I am exhausted and in more pain due to my disability. I really was thinking on rehoming my kitten because it was getting to hard. My father said he would take my kitten in because my sister wants it but they have two dogs and my father goes to his vacation house every now an then so I had a bad feeling about it. I changed my mind to keep it with me. A few day's later I just was so so tired that I felt like I just can't anymore, to play even more with my kitten. I played more then 30 minutes with her with a wand toy, making her run all over but after that she had to zoomies and at that point I was completely exhausted and she clearly not even after the play time. I told my father that I just couldn't anymore and that he was going to take her home with him, I said ok to it. The night before I started to feel so sad over and over thinking about not having her with me anymore but I knew it would be for the best. The day my father was coming to pick her up I just couldn't do it, my heart was breaking and I got so emotional that I changed my mind to keep her for now. My mind is going crazy, constantly wanting to rehome her because it is getting to much for me and on the other hand I can't take the step to rehome her. I am sure there are more people around that are or have struggled with this, I have no one really to talk to since they simply don't understand cats, for some reason they think cats are similar to dogs when it comes to rehoming them. I just don't know what to do anymore. I know it would be best for my physical and also mental health to rehome her but I have gotten so attached to her and I love her alot that it hurts thinking of rehoming her.

Why does my cat cry at my door and come up to me for attention but when i try to give her attention she growls? i don't move too fast and i get my other cat's away from her when giving her attention because she doesn't like her daughter and my other cats. She also growls, hisses and sometimes smack my other cats. She gets mad most of the time when other cats or humans go near her mostly when eating so no one can go into the kitchen while she eats.

They say so many things are toxic but I know of a cat who will eat loafs of bread n not a single thing happens. Also turkey meat toxic? Same cat devoted almost a whole turkey that was out to thaw n looked peaceful n full! No medical issues gets fed plenty n my friend doesnt know what to do w this animal anymore she has to lock everything up and one by one each lock the cat figures out how to break anything edible he will steal even food out of a hot pan cooking! And she has tried several toys thr cat isnt into playing at all. Obsessing over food or laying on a warm lap are the only 2 things he seems interested in

Whenever i try to pet my cat he bites me and idk why y'all sometimes i just wanna cuddle with him and them he just bites my face, it's so frustrating! What should i do?

We play a lot with our kitten. Yet she bites me and bunny kicks me like crazy. Absolutely unmotivated.

We have a problem child too. If he's not allowed in the bedroom at night (keeps her awake) or let outside enough (chases deers, cars) he BITES HARD. Has and will draw blood. Does anyone have a cat that chases cars? My daughters baby is due soon and I'm worried for her safety. I want him to be an indoor outdoor but my daughter says absolutely not. Now she wants to foster a dog thinking it might help the little imp. Do you or anyone out there in comment land have any advice for a first time grandmother to be who is worried to death?
P. S. He gets PLENTY of attention, food, treats and playtime.

Not all cats like to play....my cat is 13, he stopped playing at 7 years old.

I think female cats are more alert, naughty, violent etc than male cats.

I had a new female cat...she was 2 years old, seven though she looked looked a kitten......she nearly ripped my thumbnail off.

I would like to know why my cat does this. He will get on my lap and knead my chest. He'll stop, look at my hand, or arm and bite hard enough to draw blood! He's almost a year old and not that much into playing like he was when he was little.

How long for this to work out? A neighbor abandoned his cat and now I understand why. He is crazy. I'm thinking of leaving it in a shelter because it's so destructive.

I believe my Turkish van wasn't socialized properly in her early years before we got her and as a result she doesn't know to stop playing rough with our other cat (a complete angel tabby cat) even when she hisses and runs away from her. I have to intervene for her to fucking stop playing so rough. It's super annoying and I honestly don't know what to do. They have their own separate areas, I try my best to play with them often but she's still a piece of work.

My cat keeps using his teeth when i give him treats so it makes it really hard to use a reward system w him if he's hurting me or ruining the treat container :(
