2023 has been a year of many firsts for me.. one being taking my first ever solo trip!! i went in feeling really nervous and anxious (mostly about the pod hostel haha), but i ended up LOVING my time in new york and it definitely took me out of my comfort zone in a good way. i hope this is the first of many solo trips in the future :')

I have had those exact feelings and thoughts about New York and eventually planning to live in New York (solo). I am so relieved to know that someone else went through a similar experience/situation as I did earlier this year! I tried to temporarily move to New York earlier this year (for a few months) for school, but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. Initially, I was embarrassed that my experience didn’t work out, but I don’t feel so bad about it anymore. Thank you for posting this video 😅
