This is what the military calls “op-sec” i.e. operational security. Also lock the door between the garage and the house! Even if you have an electronic garage door the bad guys can open the garage door and then walk straight in.

One thing I do is when I open my door to leave I look inside and say, "bye honey, have a good day" "I'll be back soon" "See you later, babe" "Byeee" and when I come home, I knock on my door and windows and frustrately unlocks the door when no one opens. I think this gives the impression that there are someone else in the studio.

Thank you for the video, and thanks for not putting an hour worth of "Church Announcements" and sponsorship plugs in the beginning, and just getting straight to the point.

07:27 - Keep doors and windows locked

08:43 - Be alert to unfamiliar people sitting in cars in your neighborhood

Dogs are also a great source of information that you don’t realize about yourself. I have been sick and my dogs won’t leave my side because they know Mom doesn’t feel well and then I’ll also let you know when somebody is just not quite right.

I’ve had that happen where I basically got stalked in my apartment complex, and my dogs knew it from the beginning. They watched the 2nd floor near the dog park and every time I walked past this visitor came out and just watched me or talked to me. They just barked and lunged at the flooor. I let my bf know and he started walking my dogs. Magically weird guy left. It was an interesting experience bc I was concerned for my safety but also felt supported. I have always been more attuned to my dogs bc I’m a dog mom not a dog owner. I always notice them and want them well. Trust the ppl and animals around you. A dog isn’t trying to protect anyone’s feelings!

Sorry, I feel long winded but also make sure that you see in the front room. If you have people come in that are doing work in your house. And leave the door open, they don’t need privacy.

I sleep with my bedroom door locked, just in case. God forbid an intruder breaks in, at least I'll have enough time to get out of the house if necessary. Thank you so much for this video 😊
