Lucius malfoy is a guitar teacher now
48:43 Module 2 β Music Notation
1:57:51 Module 3 β Scales & Intervals
I love the way he talks english - clearly and understandable for any man around the world.
3:50:15 Module 4 β Chords
5:02:37 Module 5 β Chord Progressions
I understand the octave - pure physics - on guitar it is half string length which doubles the frequency. I understand octave split into 12 - probably induced by Zodiac. What I do not comprehand is that devision of 12 sounds into five master notes and two second-grade E and B. Why not to use just 6 equal notes?
5:34:32 Module 6 β Melody
6:33:09 Module 7 β Improvisation
Huge thanks to you Steve.
Amazing teacher ππ€©
7:05:24 Module 8 β Musical Styles
7:47:09 Module 9 β Extended Chords
Hi Steve and thank you so much for such an interesting and deep course!
I have a question regardless the modes. If I understood corectly, if we are in the key of C, then C is ionian, Dm - dorian, Em - phrygian, F - lydian, G - mixolydian, Am - aolian, and B dim - locrian. When you've said that for E phrygian we have 2nd half step down, it means in comparison to E ionian and not to the C ionian as a root, right? For ease of understanding. So we dont rebuild and don't reimagine scale. If we are using E phrygia mode, then it means emphasized 3rd chord of C major scale as our root (home) chord, correct?
8:09:02 Module 10 β Modes
8:53:43 Module 11 β Jam Tracks
Steve I donβt know if youβre reading this, but Iβve been playing for around two years and have tried to learn theory multiple times but have always just kicked the can down the road each try. Iβm on module three so far and youβre explaining it FAR better than anyone else! Itβs nine hours so of course itβs a lot of information to digest, but Iβm taking notes and am learning things I thought I would never be able to wrap my mind around. Thank you and bless you so much for making this available to all of us for free. π
9:11:28 Module 12 β Final Applications

@danielbradstreet7731What an incredible course. Steve is a great teacher with a great persona. This would cost a lot of money for private lessons, and the typical local teacher wouldn't know or understand half of this information. And, to top it off, the content is provided free as a PDF download. God Bless this man.
