Video Overview & Insights

What does it really take to solve a murder?

Former New Scotland Yard Detective Steve Keogh, with his 30 years of experience, hosts documentary series Secrets of a Murder Detective on the TRUE CRIME channel. Previous episodes are available to stream here: https://www.watchfreeuk.co.uk/

In this episode of Minutes With, former New Scotland Yard murder detective Steve Keogh shares what it’s like investigating some of the most serious crimes imaginable. Over a 30-year career with the Metropolitan Police, Steve worked in counter-terrorism, attended the aftermath of the 7/7 London bombings, and later spent years investigating complex murder cases.

Steve explains how detectives approach crime scenes, why understanding the victim is key to solving a case, and the mistakes that often lead to killers being caught. He also reflects on the emotional toll of working closely with victims’ families and the responsibility detectives feel to bring justice after devastating crimes.

Finally an educational video

— @stoic851

From growing up around crime on a London council estate to becoming a murder detective, Steve reveals the reality behind major investigations - and why real police work is very different from what we see in TV crime dramas.

Frankly I don’t know how much catching a murderer really helps the victims family. It’s not like that brings the victim back to life. Maybe it does help any potential future victims though, at least ideally

Londoner whose local police station was Paddington, which is actually near to Edgware Road station. Also almost a victim of the 2005 London attacks but chose that morning randomly to go to the hospital for ongoing fractured foot. Still think about how lucky I was until this day.
The way the presence of police/military outside Paddington police station changed overnight. Had never seen a gun before, let alone dozens of police with automatic weapons.

Is there any websites that have crime scenes from body cams that are uncensored? Youtubers are always blocking out that stuff which I understand because of guidelines, if anyone knows please reply.

If anyone hasn’t seen the movie Twins starring Arnie and Danny DeVito it might be about identical twins being extremely useful to undercover police

If the only reason there’s no such crime drama film but The Prestige is similar forget reading this any criminal scum

Now, of course, we know that the biggest criminals are the globalists (bilderberg, club of Rome, trilateral commission etc).

The Metropolitan Police's investigation into Sian Blake's murder was atrocious. They failed to give her missing persons report adequate attention, they failed to search the house promptly, they allowed her murderer to escape from the UK. And despite the Police Complaints Commission deciding that officers involved should face misconduct proceedings for their mishandling of the investigation the Met Police refused to do so. They wouldn't name the officers, but I think you can guess the identity of one of them.

@martincook3201

Yes, they are real people murder and your government insists on importing the killers. Something a bit daft about that.

There is a New Age Cult called Cleargreen full of white people claiming to be the only official representatives of Native Toltec people.
These 'Tourist Shamans' claim Native spirits gave them 'Indian names'.
And the leaders all committed suicide in Death Valley desert.
But the cult still persist and bookstores still sell their books.
If anyone should profit from THEIR culture it should be the Natives themselves.

My niece is a retired detective. She told me phonies report stolen cars all the time and she asks them where they parked the car? They can find the car through satellite connections! They catch them in lies all the time. Sad.

At work you learn who to watch when colleagues inform on people that have wronged them. If they stole from a guest or vendor you don't get the information but a person victimized will squeal on everyone. Now you know who to watch and tempt.

In the movies when a child is murdered they ALWAYS make it a really dramatic scene & the cops say “don’t worry, we WILL catch this person”, but the real professionals don’t do that. Interesting…

@jordanwood183
@

A guy like that? There's a reason I am in favor of capital punishment. Dude kills his wife and kids, then flees and parties? The reason that felt hollow is because he did something that atrocious, blasphemous to humanity, and is living the rest of his life on the taxpayer dollar/pound/Euro? He shouldn't be allowed to continue living.
