57:41 you said the problem is that Alec did not swear an oath to uphold the law. That's not a correct statement he would have taken an oath at the time of being admitted into the state bar to uphold the constitutions and the law and be faithful/protect his clients. Lawyers do take oaths is my point. It is required for admission to practice law. See how he describes Maggie and Paul like you would describe a table or an object you once kept in the home. That's how he tries to describe love as you would describe a table 'it was a good sturdy old table, strong legs good size'. It was very useful, until it no longer was, and having the space was worth more to me than keeping it.

And it is also odd that Alex and Maggie were not concerned about Paul's drinking at all. Complete dysfunction. With that said, Alex murdered his wife Maggie and his son Paul, due to the escalating financial pressures he would be facing because of the boat accident lawsuit.

@strattonskier7229I'm late to this party, but I've been watching many resources besides this amazing channel including the YT channel The Behavior Panel that includes behavioral & body language experts analyzing this case. I've also delved into info re: Alex's known abusive behavior (i.e.bar fights in college & repeatedly choking a woman being sex trafficked named Lindsey Edwards) that all ties in with Paul's sexually abusive behavior & alcoholism. The apple truly doesn't fall far from the tree. If Alex gets a new trial, I hope all this information comes out.

@loganbothwell543One thing I have learned about studying narcissistic people is they don’t feel emotions others do. They repeat things people say to mimic this. Alex mentions things like wanting to help his law firm heal. His brother told him that. He mentions the exact same things Marion said about Maggie. Then he parrots the things mark ball said about Paul. Nothing athentic.
@jamiekloer6534I go back and forth wondering if he was going to kill Paul and make it look like a suicide . It went wrong and he shit Maggie. Just the set up of riding around being the good dad. Then telling Maggie Paul is so stressed his feet are swelling going to help him with sunflowers. Maggie was suspicious and went to Ken els which he was mad about. She left and went back to house heard shot and came back a few min later. He was on knees with gun to make it look like he ran to aid Paul. Paul surprised him and was shot the way he was. Idk maybe he planned her murder to. Think they should of focused on the fact Paul was out with boat and a cooler of beer all that weekend. Think Alex had grief he didn’t want to kill the. Felt he had to.

@joycesmith3259I am so sick of hearing about his alleged addiction. Is there anywhere actual medical evidence substantiating just being under the influence of any opioid at any time, even once? And if that exists is there irrefutable medical evidence of his continuous use of such substances over a substantial length of time? When he went into rehab, what did his admission physicals show? What was in his blood? Did they only have his statement of drug use? Has ANYBODY found any proof of his “addiction”?

This kind of corruption is sadly not as rare as one might think, it is everywhere in every country and the culprits very rarely get taken down but what a spectacular fall here. I would say there are very many yet to go down along with Murdaugh
