Every two years, the world's finest athletes gather at the Olympic Games - a spectacular celebration of sporting excellence that captures the attention of billions of people around the world. However, the Games are about much more than just sport. They bring the Olympic values to life and provide a global arena for a unique combination of sport, culture, education and ceremonies.

At the Olympic Games in London 2012, about 10,500 athletes from 204 countries compete in 26 different sports, comprising 302 medal events. Whether athletes win a medal or not, they can forever call themselves Olympians. The sporting competitions are undoubtedly the central focus of the Olympic Games and participating in the Games is the ultimate goal for most athletes.
Every edition has its own story to tell and will be remembered for some truly remarkable performances from sporting legends such as Jesse Owens, Abebe Bikila, Jean-Claude Killy, Nadia Comaneci, Katarina Witt, Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt, to name just a few.
I first heard this masterpiece during the London Olympics, and without me even realizing it, the melody was deeply imprinted in my subconscious.
Later, during an early morning while I was in a half-asleep, half-awake state (hypnopompic state), this very tune suddenly started playing in my dream. I felt an overwhelming sense of divine bliss and pure serenity. When I fully woke up, I couldn't figure out which melody had just touched my soul so deeply. I searched for it relentlessly, wondering what kind of heavenly and miraculous piece of music it was. However, since it had no lyrics, I couldn't find its name and lost track of it for almost a year.
About a year later, while scrolling through social media, I stumbled upon the viral video of Mr. Bean at the Olympics. At first, I thought it was just a regular comedy sketch and didn't expect much. But as the video progressed and reached the middle section—where the piano catches its rhythm with those beautiful ascending and descending notes—I suddenly froze. In that exact moment, I re-experienced the same profound bliss and heavenly feeling I had felt that early morning before waking up!
That was the day I finally discovered its name: "Chariots of Fire."
