Sports scene is among the best in the country. However, An Eagles game can be a challenge on the “nice meter”. I’ve from here but even I as an avid sports fan won’t sit in the upper deck of an Eagles game. 😅

Thank you for making me feel prouder and more patriotic to this city. Ever since my parents move here 12 years ago, I love this place even though I grew up in the bad areas of South Philly (Not anymore though lol) Even though I do say a bad thing about Philly here and there, I am still in love with this city because of everything. I went to NYC twice, LA once, and Las Vagas once as well, however no matter where I go across the USA, I am always going to live in Philadelphia.

i just moved to north philly and I like the city. I grew up in LA during the 80's and 90's when gang wars was at a peak. In high school every week the news was reporting drive-by shootings. I moved from Central MA and philly is much more diverse and affordable. MA is basically over priced and not affordable.
The Schuylkil river trail is fantastic for cyclist. If you start from Manayunk and go west, it is lovely and well maintained. Pennypack trail is also nice for cycling.

People gave lots of negative input about Philly! Spent a week there with my partner and we fell in love with the city! People for the most part were amazing/food was fantastic and not once felt unsafe! We are in NY and are considering making Philly home! Awesome video

@fakefake9921I've lived in Philly for 30 years without owning a car and that's with getting married and raising 2 kids. Of course it's easier living in Center City than further out but you have to factor that into affordability as well. If you can avoid the 20-25K a year that many spend on car ownership then you can afford more/better housing options plus you won't waste 400 or so square feet of space with a garage which also ruins a lot of floor plans of the homes.
@medlocrf7289The one thing i will say about people being friendly is that strangers on the street are very friendly. I believe we have the rudest customer service people. If you go to the suburbs, you get "regular" service, but in the city, people look pissed that you entered their business. There is no "hello" or anything. Its "what the fuck do you want?" I dont really mind it, but just wanted to mention it if that bothers you.
@mklinger23I moved to North Philly from Colorado due to work. I expected to hate it, but after a few months I fell in love with it. The history, the variety of the neighborhoods and how green it is. Great food scene and sports. There is something different about this city and it's people.
@ramonflores5597It depends where you live. Center city is relatively safe but north philly and south philly, depending on which part are very dangerous
@Lefty20242Fun to see 40% of the street videos being of my neighborhood. Having lived in Center City almost continuously since 1982, we use our car so infrequently that we have to write down where we park so we don’t forget. One topic the narrator doesn’t address is culture. I can walk to performances of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the main venue for touring Broadway shows within 15 minutes and the Philadelphia Museum of Art of the Barnes Collection within 30!
