I'm not for sure cause I don't like to make it assumption, but I'm pretty sure the hippopotamus is the most dangerous animal in Africa. I'm probably wrong, but they're pretty dangerous. Don't mess with one that's you got her baby with her, I saw 1 kilocrocodile, 1 time it was right in the water. If you had her baby, then it stopped and put I tell you what she tore that. Crocodile up

Natural World: Hippos - Africa's River Giants

T12

— @HilarioMartinez-q9x

David Attenborough reveals the life of the hippopotamus as never seen before. With incredible underwater footage, this film delves into the world of the hippo - an animal that cannot swim yet is utterly dependent on water. In Botswana's Okavango delta, hippos face an unparalleled challenge - deep floodwaters dry to dust in a matter of months. In one extraordinary season, the team go beneath the surface to see them protect their families and face their enemies as they deal with the drought. Going far beyond their dangerous reputation, the show discovers the true nature of the hippo, an animal that is compassionate, sensitive and highly intelligent.

Welcome to BBC EARTH! The world is an amazing place full of stories, beauty and natural wonder. Here you'll find 50 years worth of entertaining and thought-provoking natural history content. Dramatic, rare, and exclusive, nature doesn't get more exciting than this.

If you use the Italian audio track, the tone is absolutely hilarious. I’m Italian, and I can assure you it sounds like the voice of an effeminate Chinese guy who’s taken something to get all hyped up… kind of like in The Hangover.

🩷♥🩷♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 🧡 The more we learn about animals, the harder it becomes to see them as "less than us". A mother's determination to protect her young is universal. Thank you for these beautiful images and for inspiring respect for the living world. 🌿

Let’s be clear: Adult hippos have NO predators. But the calves do - so watch out for the mamas!

If you're ever travelling abroad.. be way more afraid and cautious of hippos compared to gators, crocs, sharks, etc. They can and will absolutely destroy you even though they look like big friendly things.

What? Hippos "are thought" to be close "relatives" of Whales?!
That's absurdity!
Did whales develop feet and tusks? Where are the breathing holes over the Hippos.
Animal enthusiasts say the most absurd, speculative, analogies just to fill in the video duration.
Ha, ha, ha! Where's the big tail?

There is a reason why crocodiles, which are a highly predatory species, stay away from hippos. Crocodiles pay dearly and sometimes adult male hippos oust them for fun from water points. The crocodiles are hesitant, some attack but really this is very lopsided and too much courage means RIP croco.

Same goes for rhinos. Highly territorial and aggressive as hell.

There is a reason why adult male elephants dominate the areas where they go to.

Elephants weak spots are the tusks. Only with these large tusks are they extremely deadly. There are pictures of a young male elephant who is out for trouble and provokes a large adult male rhino with two massive tusks. It runs towards the elephant in attack mode as the elephant keeps closing the distance slowly. The elephant spread his front legs uses his massive head like a ram and presses the rhino down to earth with it, while very skillfully shifting slightly to the side - and ramming his massive tusk into the poor rhino, which mourns loudly. The elephant is out for blood and rolls the rhino around, so his weaker protected belly is exposed. The elephant rams both tusks multiple times into the rhino like it is butter and while being impaled, the elephant uses his tusks which are skewed into the rhino as lever.

Really very brutal. Elephants don't eat meat as we all know. The rhino dies slowly, blood is everywhere.

Never mess with an elephant. Even crocodiles who bite into their trunk regret it when they find out.

Elephant herds cross a river by simply having the males pioneering front left and right and storming through the water. It is brutal especially for rhinos. which are buried alive when they stay in their lane. Brutal.

My thought on the ugliest animals on the planet and definitely, you can almost tell their family members of dinosaurs that would be the hippo. Ugly rhinoceros, horrible hedgehog, not a hedgehog warthog, horrible, even elephants, I do not find at all appealing, it's just Weird looking.I guess that's the point of some of these animals. The can't think of any other ones that are really like creepy like that or alligators , they all of these look like they were descendants of the creepy dinosaurs
