I’ve seen (in a picture before ai was prevalent) the results of a pickup truck brake checking a semi. The rear wheels were damn near over the cab. This guy would get off easy with loosing his license and paying for the repairs to his car and the semi.

People who will commit insurance fraud on the FREEWAY will one day find themselves in a very real accident.

Does the term 'Brake Checking' specifically include rapid lane-changing as the idiot in the video is doing? It is not a term I am familiar with. Something that I note in the video is that many drivers are driving dangerously close to the vehicle in front, ir they would not be able to avoid a collision in the event of having to stop suddenly. Possibly a reason why the US is the 4th most dangerous country in the world to drive in (measured by deaths/distance travelled).

This driver is a supreme idiot. I was still taking driving lessons when I realized that semi trucks are the baseball bats of the road. Cards are mere tomatoes.

A lot of people saying insurance fraud attempt, but it looks like road rage to me. Semi was in the left lane, and it looks like the VW driver is trying to motion him to get out of the passing lane at the beginning. And while it is annoying when semi’s just cruise in the left lane… just go around and move on with your day.

What a tool

I had a lifted four wheel drive when I was in my early 20’s. I mean it was a four inch lift with 36 tires and this amazing one of Ami d push guard. The guy I bought it from was a small time west coast arca racer. He had bought a aftermarket push guard then welded a bunch more metal to the thing then had it dipped in chrome. The entire truck with the engine mods was a real beauty. One night me and a couple friends were coming back from a night out at some nightclubs (so buzzed and at two in the morning) when I saw a pair of headlights coming fast. I put gum in my mouth and started popping Altoids (we come to the 90’s kids). I was in the fast lane the car coming all the way in the slow lane on a 4 lane side of the freeway. When it got close I could tell not a cop car and as the tiny Ho da civic passed me it started changing lanes. When it got into the fast lane it started to slow down and then brake checked me. I just moved. Over one lane and the little civic moved over in front of me again and same thing. I hit the brakes and moved back into fast lane just to have it come right back over in front of me. Now this was months after Richard Petty was running I believe for governor or something and had had a famous incident where we spun out or bumped someone in a road rage situation (can’t remember it’s been a long time). With this fresh in my mind because even though we weren’t in nascar country the news was national news. I decided I had had enough of this guy. I didn’t know what he was up to and you hear stories of gang initiations where they start something like this just to shoot someone do when he hit the brakes it hit my gas. Will never forget how I masterfully gained on him after the initial punch (as he instantly gassed it hard) until I made the softest of contact with his tiny little civic. By now my passengers were screaming like girls at a Taylor Swift concert. I will never forget sitting up close to the wheel to look down on the civic sliding left and right across my bush guard as he tried to keep control as I kept accelerating😊 when he alid over to my left a little I gave it everything and quickly steered straight right. The last thing we saw on the rear view mirror was it spinning wildly and bouncing as it almost flipped in the grass median and a whole bunch of dust. 😂😂😂😂😂 I still thank Richard Petty for the inspiration and this was a true story as a drunk Gen X windian from the northwest remembers it. If these Woke fools did any break checking in any Caribbean country especially in Trinidad we ent stopping and would send these fools of the road an continue on our way, this practice is reckless, irresponsible, selfish and total disregard for others, people could be so Dumb 😢 it's sickening
