The Derby debacle highlights the failure of Regulation in the UK. They are supposed to protect the participants, but they appear to make decisions without understanding the consequences. The rule which allowed the decision to be applied is not fit for purpose. It should only be applied where there is mechanical failure, otherwise it allows subjectivity. The horse made its own problem here, and that is that. This disgraceful decision has probably cost the sport millions of pounds, and seriously questions its integrity.

Spot on SD how can the local stewards send review to HQ for jockey hitting horse too many times when us punters know that the horse will be disqualified. If the local stewards can’t be trusted to make decision what is the point of having them . Clowns Johnny is right

I agree with smido .
Why are we still banging on the derby nr? Sick of hearing about it now .
I see no problem with it myself
@RacesNow_
@Smido11
The ebor might be a handicap but i dont think the weights matter in the ebor much .
I just look for the group horse not the best handicapped.
I agree with sd on york thou.
After time for sandals lost there last month i refused to bet there again.
That the day the bias swapped twice in half an hour .
@racingoncourse
From Cheltenham to Aintree, Sandown to Ayr, we'll be there.
"He called him a South African clown " 😂 . He didnt , he said the BHA dont gave to go all the way to south Africa to find a clown, as there are plenty to find locally. 😂

I am a old age pensioner, betting very small stakes most days of the week i.e. I bet for fun, not in the expectation of getting rich, and I simply cannot understand the dislike of York races. Usually plenty of runners offering a decent range of prices, and what is wrong with fillies races? Each to their own, of course, but while Hexham may be very pretty, I find the racing pretty ordinary. Any chance of you elaborating on your views?

What a waste of time25 racing 75 politics
@BrianBowers-nw2ksFir fucks sake get on with racing
@BrianBowers-nw2ksWhere's 25 1 STEM
@BrianBowers-nw2ksI'd rather sd talk about fotc than winging
@BrianBowers-nw2ksSd shut up winging n get on with tippimg
@BrianBowers-nw2ksSmiddo why don't you stand by your words a little more, everytime you make a comment SD says bollox, it makes you look slightly idiotic and a yes man. I'm sure SD would have more respect if you stood up for yourself a little. But apart from that another great show. I do like SD and Smiddo by the way, but both points needs listened to.
@manchester1972Every day is Christmas Day, when you're allowed to run four or five horses, in every big race
#AnyoneButAOB
SD you have just hung yourself the rule states starting stalls but not inclusive so that could include a horse with it's foot on the stall if you think a horse can start a race like that can't believe you actually believe it has not affected his placing one hand in the bookies pockets
@michaelquayle5017With Simo here sd crying for his mates cannot understand why some punters are moaning there are far worst things happen at least most punters didn't lose The punters are screwed every day fixed races all over the place yet no enquiry I'm old enough to remember 1/4 the odds a place now 1/5th no questions asked
@michaelquayle5017Great show lads ..it looks like you have been banging in the winners lately..fuck the haters. Royal ascot next week. Boom 💥!!
@triggs533Do move on from the stall situation 🤔
@willbecks4315Would it still have been declared a non runner if it won the race
@BigShug-e2kThis sort of move with the NR is similar to the progression of football officiating. The biggest stages of football have VAR so everything is picked up, the lower leagues don’t so more goes under the carpet
@connorohara3293Hexham entries. Look good
Passing Diamond is running
Hopefully.
Make a few quid
Decent horse
Take care both of
BC ran in the race at Epsom therefore it WAS a runner. It cannot be a non runner when it actually did run. That is basic fact. Anything else is plain wrong, it's nonsensical. What if the horse had won the race? There are educated people using cleverly written statements and hiding behind wording in rules to try and make logical something that is categorically wrong! BHA need to stop dumbing down on this and admit they've created an almighty mess and set about ensuring it doesn't happen again. At the moment their attitude comes across as arrogance.
@ianbiles8756Great watch see ya at Hamilton Park on Wednesday SD.
@JoeODonnell8649Thanks lads
