I still haven’t finished the video. But I know there’s apparently a trend going around which is honestly so dumb and illegal, but teens are trying to “catch a predator” but going about it the wrong away and end up committing entrapment. The so called “predator” (which could actually be one but by entrapment they could end up ruining a good case and the possible predator ends up free) ends up meeting the minor and then a bunch of people start verbally harassing and in some cases physically harassing the “predator”. Could that be what happened in this case? I know this case it’s a few years old and that trend is happening now, but a lot of people have being doing these “to catch a predator” thing for years now. Or maybe the friend found out and wanted to “teach a lesson” to the predator and it went too far

Lubbock district Judge Douglas Freitag signed a motion from the Lubbock County District Attorney's Office to dismiss the murder charge against 19-year-old Steven Tobias Salazar.
"There was no physical evidence linking him to that murder only the word of the co-defendants," said prosecutor Laura Beth Fossett.

Salazar's attorney, Matt Morrow, declined to comment.
