Minecraft saved my life. A year ago, I had been taken advantage of by someone I shouldn't have trusted. This person had caused me to do things I deeply regret to this day. I ended up playing Minecraft the night after I attempted, and watching this made me safer. A few days later, I cut all contact with the person for good, apologized to my family, and worked on moving forward. Thank you, Mojang, for saving not only me, but everyone from their dark moments.

I've been doing way better than last year, and now I have a pet pig, armadillo, and horse in my world. The pig's name is "Techno" because of the legend, the armadillo's name is "Gertrude" because my brother called it a "chud," and my horse's name is "Gromit" after the dog from Wallace and Gromit.

Man it’s insane how I’ve literally grown up with this game. When it came out on the Xbox 360 I remember begging my parents to let me and my brother rent it off Redbox (when those still existed) because we watched Stampy’s Christmas episode on his lovey world. I vividly remember getting so mad when I was five years old, starting my first world, and realizing I’d have to build everything myself lmao 😭

I have literally found life long friendships due to this game— friends that I’ve found in servers and connected with. One of them I’m actually seeing very soon irl after five years of playing this game!! Without him, I might not be here today. He’s saved my life so many times.

What I’m saying is, I want to thank you for making videos like this. Maybe it’s the rain sounds, or the nostalgia, but these videos make me fall asleep so fast and feel so relaxed. Like everything’s gonna be okay. Which in a time like today— everyone needs that thing that reminds them that life can be peaceful and pleasant.
