In this video, I break down the Massachusetts State Policeâs opposition to Karen Readâs motion to compel documents under a non-party subpoena. MSP says it produced 435 responsive emails but withheld 473 communications between MSP and the Norfolk County District Attorneyâs Office, claiming they are protected by the work-product doctrine.

Who has oversight of the MSP? The governor? How come the court is not interjecting and ensuring the MSP is held responsible to comply? I am disgusted , yet not surprised after.all.the discoveries that stem from Proctor and the evil cowards disguised in uniform.
It is more then obvious that they are hiding and also protrcting the cowards at.the very top .
The sad part is that the good cops are overshadowed by the evil monsters cloaked behind the badge.

@lisaw8306I am not Lawyer, bit I'd say that it can not be Attorney Work Product simply because it is a "PUBLIC RECORD". Now I know some things can not be shared but I do not think that to be one? I AM NOT A LAWYER, Correct Me if I am Wrong!!

You know he didn't do all this on a one-time never done it before deal because he was protecting the McAlbert's, this guy has experience with it and a laundry list of corrupt investigations. @Sean-nr3nsMy husband has been an officer in the military over 20 years. If someone wanted our text in a subpoena to prove he never did anything wrong I would be happy to turn them over (as long as our material fights were kept out). He isnât a piece of crap man. When he roast someone itâs because of their poor performance at their job. Nothing to do with race or family background.

@cranky74I used to have alot of respect for the MSP- it seems things there have REALLY gone downhillâŠ.As an ER nurse and a forensic collection nurse, I worked along with the MSP on a few cases years back- the troopers I worked with were great- Now? I donât think I would have that same trust today sadlyâŠ.I also have a close friend whoâs mom was an MSP trooper (who sadly lost her life on duty in the early 2000s) and she was an amazing person and trooper!! I truly hope they once again hold the applicants and appointees to as high a standard going forward as they did in the pastâŠ.

@e.b.4506The work product exception would only apply to prosecuting attorneys communicating amongst themselves internally about trial strategy. Cops and others involved in the investigation or analysis of evidence are not clients of the DAs office. Communications by the prosecuting attorneys with those people or communications of those people amongst themselves is NOT work product. Witnesses are neither clients nor attorneys and they have no valid role in trial preparation or strategy. In fact if they were involved in trial preparation or strategy that is completely improper conduct that calls the credibility of any testimony they have or may provide in the future into question.
