This composition is truly a gem. The big problem is that, in live versions, it lacks weight, if you know what I mean. The bass should have distortion in the choruses (like Motorhead), that would completely change the song. To top it off, a distorted guitar would also give more life to these live versions. The studio version is excellent, but live, it lacks spice.

It's almost as if there's no backing track (in fact there might not be), which is virtually unheard of today. Just people playing parts, gorgeously might I add. Not an overproduced thing, it simply doesn't have to be the ::exact:: sound from the record, which we have gotten obsessed with for live shows. I will take feeling and vibe over precision any day.
