This is my first time tuning into this channel, and I must say, I was truly impressed by Gweneth's interview style. She exudes a calm, wise intelligence and poses some thought-provoking questions. Not to mention, she carries a certain grace about her. The interview itself was really good. However, I'm not quite sure what was meant by 'she was not for rent' in reference to his wife and the choice not to sleep together when they first met. As a woman, I've been intimate with men at both the beginning and later stages of a relationship. Does this imply that I am a piece of property who was for rent at one time and for sale at another? Because let's be real, we can engage in both. And does this property concept only apply to women? I'm sorry, but I'm feeling a bit confused. There are so many mixed messages about how women seem to be judged in this regard.

I am so incredibly blown away listening to Matthew read the poem he wrote at the age of 18. Way beyond his years. Matthew has impressed me so many times at his level of intelligence and his ability to be highly introspective but this really blew me away ❤

Matthew reminds me of the character Hubbell Gardner (Robert Redford) from the movie the Way We Were. As a college student, Hubbell wrote a story The American Smile and the opening line "In a way, he was like the country he lived in. Everything came too easily to him. But at least he knew it." encapsulates, in my opinion, Matthew. I say this as a compliment.
