Mastering the art of everyday diplomacy | Alisher Faizullaev | TEDxMustaqillikSquare
Video Overview & Insights
The world is full of differences. Every day we can face a variety of individuals, groups, opinions, intentions, interests and values, and that may catalyze confrontations and conflicts. How can we maintain peaceful and balanced relations with others? Professor Alisher Faizullaev, D.Sc., Ph.D., scholar, writer and Ambassador, calls on us to master the fine art of everyday diplomacy. He argues that it is normal to be different. The important thing is to learn how to discuss and negotiate those differences rather than fight them.
I study at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and I had his course of Strategic thinking

@abdumalik_choriyevHello everyone, I’m Kurd I want to learn speak english in the field of diplomacy
who can help me by speak with me
1. Mindset- peace of mind, inner mind of everyday diplomacy, can we be tolerant, recognize differences. Balance. War is an act of extremes and imbalance. Diplomacy is opposite of war. Yin Yang imagery. Balance involves rooting in principles, resilience and moderation.
2. Skills- social interaction skills such as understanding others, tactfulness, negotiation, can you see and feel and pay attention to details? Listening active emotionally and intellectually. Tactfulness involves civility. Respect involves preserving the dignity of others. Negotiation not just a skill but a value. It leads to common ground and coming to an agreement.
Self Regulation Skill- first can you remain calm and regulate yourself, breathe, not resistant.
3. Cultural Awareness- educate yourself to understate cultural codes.
Practice truthfulness! Integrity. Practice everyday in nature in class, in all social situations. One way is with a smile! Another is saying than you!
In Poland we also have similar cultural values as in Uzbekistan 😊
@ewalichorowicz4614Excellent speech Professor Alisher! This speech should be presented to the USA Congress as they lack this skill, hence our nation is struggling and very divided. Diplomacy skills should be a prerequisite for any public service job. Thank you so much for the inspiration! 🙏❤️😊
@ewalichorowicz4614real смешно, ну что за идиот
@СергейМорозов-ш7щон идиот? так хорошо на нескольких стульях посидеть
@СергейМорозов-ш7щWar creates imbalance, and diplomacy stops war to maintain balance

What’s the diplomatic term for “kaffir infidel”? How would you diplomatically explain the jizya?
