The clip with Espaillat and Ryan Grim is from Hasan's stream. Ryan went over to try to get an interview with Espaillat and Hasan's producer/cameraman went with him. That entire stream was wild, and for most of the day Hasan was with Ryan Grim and Brace Belden, who are now my favorite trio of people.
Kid Mero's teenage son called Brace gay in front of 10 of the most progressive people you can imagine. An Uber driver got Brace and Hasan to go silent after thinking Brace said a slur, only to realize when they were getting out that it was Hasan, and saying he was a fan, where the misunderstanding got cleared up. A backpack was lost. Someone who turned out to be a Netflix actor went to vote for Claire after Hasan gave them a pamphlet. There were many dogs. There was an impromptu pull-up competition in a park. Police were called. Security clearance was denied. Emma Vigeland showed up, as did Lina Khan, and a couple dozen other familiar faces. Hasan had a drink and a half and said he's coming for Ritchie Torres. One of Espaillat's guys whom Ryan talked to turned out to be a disgraced former politician and felon who could only vote because of a recent felon voter rights act that Mamdani supported. He also claimed that the guy shouting at Espaillat about AIPAC was paid (he wasn't) and the entire race was really about racists not wanting there to be a black speaker of the house (it took even Ryan Grim a couple minutes to figure out the logic there). One of Espaillat's body guards randomly walked by later on and casually shook Hasan's hand while passing... Just a completely insane irl stream that was only made better by the complete sweep at the end of the night.

I've already let my Dem. Rep. (Betty McCollum - MN) know I will never vote for her again due to her playing games on the genocide, giving trillions to Israel, etc. Vote accordingly using AIPAC Tracker and the AIPAC Congressional Democrat Palestine Tracker ! Litmus tests for ANY Dems from here on: 1) ZERO arms sales, military aid or subsidies to Israel with immediate Palestinian statehood and 2) Actionably supporting universal healthcare (juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust like Israelis have on our freaking dime)! Or, LOSE (AGAIN) until you represent US! and not Israel, AIPAC, J Street, etc. Thereby, Greasy Gavin, Andy Bombin' Beshear, Killin' Kamala & Slaughter lovin' Shapiro, you're out. I have zero qualms voting 3rd party if pushed.

@MIKELIN8Thank you for bringing up that Pastor Ben message, which in turn reminded me about Harry Belafonte. There's a name that's been important to me since some of my earliest memories, listening to cassette tapes of his music on the long car ride up to my grandma's cottage. Learning about his life and his political activities later in life was really impactful.
