I’m in El Salvador a lot and they use it I get lost 😂. Never found a video for it then this popped up at random. I need to study this and figure out how to acquire and applying it.

E.g. No cerrés. No escribás.

Me gusta que has hablado del Vos. Soy Nicaragüense, y nosotros usamos el Vos. Thanks so much for explaining how to conjugate with Vos. Since I have done it a lifetime, it is so easy for me.

Wow! Your classes are incredible thanks for teach our language. (I have to say sometimes we mix the conjugation of vos, tu or usted. But only in informal situations.)

They use el voseo in Nicaragua, too. My husband & his family use it all the time.

As a person living in a country where voseo it's used, this video is, without a doubt, the best explanation on the basis of voseo, good work, bro!

Primero, soy argentina y nunca me había dado cuenta de que usar el VOS es más fácil porque deriva de una manera más directa de los verbos.
Poder-->Podés | Tener-->Tenés ||| Dormir-->Dormí | Cortar-->Cortá
Segundo, Francia.

Gracias por el video!

Very useful thank you Connor. Is there any difference in form between the affirmative and negative imperative like there is with ‘tú’?

Great video, clear explanation and examples! (I love that film by the way!)

I’ve been living in Argentina for almost 11 months now and learning Spanish for about a year, I’m pretty high intermediate now.

However I’ve never really been sure about the usage of Voseo and I’ve generally avoided it, preferring to utilising my more standard, neutral kind of Mexican Spanish.

But I’ve kind of fallen in love with the style here and feel like I should start using voseo. Thanks for the breakdown!

P.S. It’s also used (in a different way) in the Zulia state of Venezuela I believe

I really like the simplicity of voseo but do you think that Spanish speakers that don’t use voseo will understand it? Do you use this form of Spanish?
