Elple.I know have found children. Many, more than 1 child....

What kind of load out for a family of.3? Or if I am picking my daughter up from school and something happens, I have my go bag in the trunk (and of course there are things in there specific for my child...) ...now, many people (if they even reply) usually say "its up to u to teach them" and "u have to make them a bag" and I obviously vet that HOWEVER there is just not appt of content out there dealing with chikdren...and u know what they say if you scare mama or papa bears cub, and I'm pretty sure we all know where that leads a edge same.goes for all animals including human beings

This is a beautiful video. The photography and explanations are clear as far as they go. The title says for beginners. How would I actually learn from this video? It goes by so fast that even stopping it and looking it over and over again seem useless to me. What am I missing? All I can think is that this is a teaser for taking a course from you in the field.

I have the ranger pro 78. I saw it on display at sportsmans and grabbed it..the longer saw and blade is a huge game changer

I think you can use the chair as a home?

@Xanzxxxx
@

For chopping wood or trees
To make tools last long and cutting more efficient and less effort
Make some wedges big and small

Wedges help split wood times easier
And take less time to cut something

And I definitely recommend buying a settlers wrench

PSA: Batoning is rarely necessary and endangers your knife. A broken knife is not good to have for survival. Think long and hard if you absolutely need to baton. Also practice at home with backups before trying it in the field.
IF you still need to do it, use a thicker blade with a tougher steel. A survival knife is better than a bush knife for this task.
Your bushcraft knife should generally be a littler thinner and sharper than your survival knife. Mora makes a good bushcraft knife.

Great video. What blade are you using in these shots? Also, out of curiosity, how come you like to use this rope material over paracord?

Andrew, love your videos and your teaching style, and I have watched most of your stuff. I just want to impart a little constructive criticism: H-E-A_R-T-H is pronounced the same as Heart, but with the TH, as in HAR-th. It'll lend more credibility to your video.

Reminds me of basic sere in Washington state. It was the first time I ever saw the purple mountains' majesty. Except for missing the rabbit so it squealed like a baby, making one guy throw up on a tree, it was like camping 201, or 101 for the Nav I was partnered with. Some folks never learn critical thinking.
