Anyone that says a law degree is hard, has no sense of education or knowledge. I studied medicine and that was brutal; however, seeing the material my brother had to do in engineering made me thank God i ended up in medical school.

Easy one as a physician and many of us are easily on par with intelligence. You know the letter of the law and sue us for real reasons but also nonsense. We will save your life without a second thought on the other hand. Med school is very intense, and it doesn't end with just a degree. So many more things to do to become a practicing physician. I am not discounting going down a legal route. Be ethical as most in both fields are. Don't do that and I would be the first to oppose that individual.

My parents are both surgeons. They spent about 12 years studying respectively, (5 years in med school, a year of internship and 5 years residency) before they became well known. But even before that, they’ve defo spent a huge chunk of their lives preparing themselves for that, (highschool) and I’m hoping to start pre-med soon (I’m in year 10 btw) but im highkey terrified of the hours despite of all the perks and benefits, whilst saving a life. My sister is also in med school at the university of Sydney (5th year) and she suffered immense psychological problems during her 3rd year by developing trichotillomania (shes all good now after she got help dw :]) and I guess I’m just slightly terrified of those odds even though it’s very unlikely to occur. But anyways, for anyone who’s trying out for med school or are currently facing exams rn in med school, I wish u the best of luck for your grandiloquent journey :))

Medical school is harder and longer, but once each person graduates from their field, a doctor’s job is a lot easier than a lawyer’s job! Most doctors, unless they are surgeons, just sit behind a desk and take a few notes and hand out a prescription for some toxic drug and go on so-called continuing education where it’s basically all paid for vacations by drug companies. Lawyers don’t have those luxuries after law school.

Also, doctors are respected by their patients and society and have a relatively easy job after they graduate and finish their training. Lawyers will have to fight every day and it’s a battle, it’s a life of argument and battle for a lawyer. They fight with the other side, they fight in court, and they fight with their own clients.

Last, once a doctor, you are relatively set for life, with a high steady income, whereas for a lawyer, most lawyers have to fight and struggle to make money, and many simply will never make it to wealth. On the other hand, a lawyer has the potential to make far far money more than any doctor.

I’m a med student, and there are a lot of med students that drop out of medical school to go to law school because it’s easier.
I’ve never heard of ANYONE dropping of out law school to switch to medical school.
I’ve also heard of people failing medical school and switching to law.

Law is a man-made and completely artificial concept. The human body (or life in general) is a product of the infinite complexity nature. Nothing is harder to fully understand than nature.

I have three engineering friends who went into law. All three were working throughout the process, but still found it to be relatively easy. One passed the California bar at his first attempt with no prep school.

2:21 it's interesting how it's different across the board, because here in India, law school is primarily 5 years(since you do a BA, BBA, BCom or BSC along with it) and also quote expensive in relation to med school.
