Can't we just enjoy both players for who they are, and stop trying to compare Lamine Yamal to Messi? Lamine Yamal is different than Messi in a lot of ways. There won't be another Messi in our lifetimes, I don't think, but Lamine Yamal does have the ability to become something similar but different than Messi. Messi will forever be the GOAT. Even if he does not win on Sunday, he will go down as the best to ever play. I am just fortunate enough to have been able to watch him play every week for almost 2 decades. I did not know when I first saw him come on the pitch that I was about to witness the making of a legend. Let's stop comparing them and just enjoy the beautiful football they play.

i feel it has become even worse now. Messi has already won the World Cup while Lamine hasn't have been having a good World Cup.
And the pressure on him becomes even harder if he is to lose against Messi.
Its like saying he wasn't the chosen one.
And we do not know if Messi will truly retire from International games.
