Derbyologist, something I noticed in Florida Derby that nobody else seems to talk about.
If you watch the Florida Derby race in fragments, you will see that every horse in the race except one, was able to make their run when the wanted.
Except Chief Wallabee, he really didn't get to make a run until just around the final furlong pole, where he was compromised being stuck behind horses entire race and I don't believe he wants to be down inside or up so close to the pace, much rather see him take back a bit and be able to make an outside run.
I believe this horse has the ability to keep improving over any out of the horse from Florida Derby, already beat the Puma once and has went from maiden into graded in only his second and third starts to only loose to A much more experienced Commandment by less than a length each time.

Is it possible to get where the colts finished who were leading at the mile and the eighth pole regardless if they won?

Incredibolt is another example of the dead rail on Fountain of Youth day. He spent a lot of time on the rail so ran poorly. That race was a throw out and he came back and ran great in the Va Derby.

Great job as usual. I sure don't envy you for trying to keep things going in these days leading up to the draw, because there's no way to know who will be in, and even after the draw, waiting to find out which one or two will have a problem and scratch out. Your job now is extremely tough IMO.
