One of the first things you notice as a visitor to Istanbul. It's a great city but the cats make it just that little bit extra special.

This is a turkish proverb, If you do not love animals, you cannot love humans. An old Turkish proverb dating all the way back to the beginning of us all. What an amazing culture I have to be apart of. Alhamdulillah

Stray dogs in Turkey always kill these poor cats. I always take care of the cats in my neighbourhood but I am tired of they get bited or dead by this dangerous and big stray dogs.

People are worthless children women too people find their self worth in unconditional love of stray animals they born in a concrete jungle perceive reality through linguistic determinism they die in same neighbourhood most of their life is in few miles diameter circle it's their world n reality in such a small world filled with poverty n misery what is so special I wonder there have been almost 20 cats I took care of in my long life but where human beings are worthless nothing can justify afford of being kind and caring for self fulfillment its an emotional jerk off

It would be nice to watch this documentary for free. I'm a animal lover of all kinds. They're so precious n they mean alot to me no matter if cat, dog or any other kind of animal. I became a surrogate mom for my first cat in my life. He was a feral kitten that mom left behind. I had him for almost a year till the most painful thing happen to him. He was being like any other cat domestic or feral doing what was natural for cats to do but they don't know when they'll lose their lives. He was killed by a car. I know it's all part of life. He did what he was suppose to do n he was gone.

Just watched a documentary about the same place, but with dogs. It’s called “Stray”. My conclusion is: Humans are idiots. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂

I lived in Istanbul Turkey for about 4 years... i saw sooo many sufferings of stray cats... as far as i knew, people did not believe in fixing them... it was sooooo sad..... i try to help, but just too many... i wish government gets involved.. and minimize their sufferings...
