Sorry to break to you but this deal shows yet again that Deco is a terrible negotiator. 22 million + 7 in add ons for 65% of a player worth 40 million with one year left in his contract. If you do the math 65% means exactly 26 million of his worth and we paid 22 plus 7 on add on, again terrible negotiating, this guy might be a good sporting director but negotiation is not one of his strengths no doubt about that.

To be a master negotiator you have to consistently do it, this was most likely due to several factors aligning in his favor and a ridiculous 35% sell-on clause…. Flick makes everyone better and his value will go up, Borussia knows this and knows what a 35% sell-on clause can mean

@niguhhhYou only hear these stories of players wanting to Join Barcelona because Barcelona is a Mafioso club. Barcelona ask the players to force their club hands as they are never tidy enough to actually pay the price for a player they admire.
