Jurassic Park-Like Jeep Ride w/ NO Track! Drive Yourself Attraction | PANGEA at Movieland
Video Overview & Insights
[4K] "Expedition Pangea the World of Dinosaurs" is one of the coolest rides at Movieland Italy. Here you can actually drive your own jeep through forest to see dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park! No track or anything. You drive in rugged terrain and up steep hills too. Can't think of any attraction at any theme park in the world that let you drive a car with no track. Autopia at Disneyland for example uses track.
ugh, imagine getting stuck behind gramma or some other kid who has no idea how to operate it or correct it if you get to close to the edge
"An adventurous journey on board specially made jeeps will transport you into a forest populated by realistic animated reproductions of the most famous dinosaurs, which will come to life before your eyes. The jeeps have the unique characteristic of being able to be driven independently thanks to a radar positioning system" - https://www.canevaworld.it/en/pangea.html

There was a little privately-owned theme park I went to as a kid called "Shireland." They had a Dragon Ride that was a lot like this and is just the perfect amount of scariness for a little kid. If this is from a privately-owned theme park, they did an amazing job.

Coolness! You could never have this ride in the US, we’re to stupid with no common sense, they would all be trying to turn the wrong way and crash into stuff.
@LooseBaconTrails4Twomplawn mower powered suzuki samurais is wild and rad.
@justaguyintexasWhat a yawnfest
@Disasteroids1This can’t be in America? No way
@jobe1972Haha, seems about right for Italy, "Itsa me, Homagio! Itsa notta copyright infringement, itsa Homage! Ha-Yaaaaaa!".
@mzdtmp2Wow. That looked as boring as F*ck.
@neatfreak1000You don't need tracks anymore. Theynare all computer controlled and guided.
@y2kmaddIs he really steering idk
@dhandymandarren3074The actual Jurassic Park didn't even let their guests actually drive the car lol. This is such a great ride idea!
@talkaboutwackyIf this was in the US, someone would manage to crash one of those little knock off Jeeps or worse.
@mohandascletisghandi7960Unfortunately it is a matter of time before a certain demographic of people who make up 13 percent of the population will destroy the jeeps. Just look at their communities
@hoopstar7891Wow, this would be sick in the US, but I fully understand why they don't allow it. 75% of the people on the road don't actually deserve their damn license....Morons.
@BucketOBoatTrashI see some people bashing it . Clearly the ride isnt for you . This is perfect for a family with kids . The kids get the dinosaur thrill and all dads love driving new trucks 😂 this is a very cool concept
@John-eh6jgPróximo película de jurassic park y jurassic world
@franciscorodriguezsalmoral8416the ONLY thing cool about this was being able to drive the "jeep" yourself, well the trail was cool too but everything else was super geh
@BillyBlaze7Whats that? I can't hear you over the lawn mower engine they used for their jeeps.
@doc9886So cool. Im 40 and I'm excited to come here.

@MohamedMostafa-bb4zlI liked the entrance
@AnthonyRudd-s1bGENIAL, PERO FALTA MAGIA ¡¡¡ nose si es porque la mayoria de atracciones mecanicas son estaticas
@FELIPEZUTRADERThat isnt being controlled by that steering wheel...
@BOOSETOso sad
@yourbuddy4019I love when a random ride out of nowhere delightfully catches me by surprise - well done movieland!!
@outsidebk1848Where are you located? We are planning to visit.
@RobertAbel-t2tI love this ride so much!!!!
@aminestoisthebesto806Awesome ride. Cool video. 9/10. I'd give the video 10 but without subtitles it's kinda annoying. Even auto-generated ones would make certain parts easier to understand. What can I say, I'm a subtitle addict lol. But seriously, other than that, pretty cool! Thanks :)
@phrostxbyteThe driving concept is good, but the animatronics are horrible, as they always are.
@bennoreuter4393We spared some expense, you have to drive yourself.
@Kevin_KnoxYou’re telling me you get to drive your own vehicle!? That’s wild! And awesome!
@kevinklein9565I don't like this ride I wouldn't be driving
@AndrewWerner-x4hVery cool one, but you had turds drivers in front that drive too slow and stop for too much time... lol still looks Great! :)
@ricosea2982This’ll never happen in the US lol
@swimmer8585No power steering?
@theaarongarciayeah the quality is meh but I still think overall the ride seems awesome especially not universal related but biggest disappointment is.... this isn't supposed to be related to the JP or JW franchise ip but the Dilo has a dumb neck frill, that's a copy of the Dilo specific to JP franchise . I didn't go through the nuances of other dinosaurs but for a non JP related thing I was expecting non JP dinosaurs but original versions of dinosaurs at the least so anybody confusing these with Jurassic park or world animals u can't blame em cuz if things like the frilled neck dilophosaurus which is dumb
@jb.cloud4u2que pelotudez, horrible
@sergiofernandes2138Very cool idea…..needs waaaaay…….more action on the animals
@danrose3621For a small park, i had no problem enjoying a full day here. My oldest son (14 at that time), isn't an coaster park lover. But this park stole his heart! He can not stop talking about it. I was very impressed on how everything operated. One of the best park i ever visited, and i seen some good parks in my life. 👏☺️
@LippertDeniseNot sure if anyone else noticed this but look closely at the screen at 3:43 and you'll very quickly see the Windows Media Player logo pop up. So this ride is Windows based. That's interesting
@PlatinumEagleStudiosNot even 30 seconds into the ride and I can see how other guest can be annoying. That jeep ahead was stopped to take selfies, super annoying
@Will-fh1tfPretty sad
@steve-us2hgImagine driving your kids through this. You'd be a hero 😅😂😂😂
@YusufAhlyits good only for kids :-D
@chladek22Don't know why that guy is steering..Its not like they're going to actually let people have any control over the jeep thingy
@rEnfield2222This looks like such a fun attraction!
@rachelflower8826Where is that found
@daividjackson2835Who is this ?
@oktayguzel2512We used to have this at Dreamworld. Don't know if it's still there, but it was fun driving it at 8 years old 😂
