A pretty shitty caption job. I don’t know who told you to mark dialogue in parentheses, or that [stutter] comprehensibly marks dialogue whose stutter has already been punctuated. (Not that it’s necessary at all to denote stuttering in unscripted material.)
Psychology professor and clinical psychologist Dr. Jordan B. Peterson explains the proper mindset forhaving a meaningful conversation with someone and the therapeutic effect of telling the truth.
Dr. Peterson's new book is available for pre-order:
He was so bright back then. His verbal ability and recall is many stdev above the norm.
But age and fighting the Left, which is very dangerous, have taken a toll.

@komaymorad3793Its brilliant. I wonder, is this a part of some larger lecture? Couldnt find it(
@АндрейБондаренко-ы2зIt's like he was a completely different person back then. Coherent.
@CaylexTThe real question is why are people so arrogant to begin with? Is it because the human species were evolved to be antiquated and wrong?
And we're just supposed to be who we are and duke it out in the real world to find out who's best?
Nice

@Dr.InzaaaThank you.
@mikeg5018This amazing human being is being attacked on so many different levels in 2023 that it’s so sad to see someone who can help so many people is basically being run out of his profession because he has a differing opinion against people who don’t live in this reality.
@jryan5441Conversing with someone who I am quite aware has the attribution of eccentricity would be nothing but fascinating. It's fun, listening to all things they said.
@latesspringWe are so damn lucky to have access to his lectures online for free
@SZEditorThis is fantastic 💐❤️ I love this guy. Beautiful. Thank you!
@priyap2701"Siddhartha sat, and listened. The many-voiced song of the river echoed softly. Siddhartha looked into the river and saw many faces in the flowing water. The river's voice was sorrowful, it sang with yearning and sadness. Siddhartha was now listening intently, to this song of a thousand voices. The song consisted of one word, Om, the perfection. From that hour, Siddhartha ceased to fight against his destiny." - Herman Hesse
@Plonkman99In my family , no one listen to no one , so do I. But this hurted me , and I certainly hurt them by doing so. Im trying to actively listen to them despite they never listen me , and damn its like a torture to not being distracted , to be genuilely interested. I just listen my dad project for the house and it was only 5 minute , i feel sooo tired damn
@kaidox5639Jordan "King of articulation" as always.
@dhinakarans2034Peterson is absolutely at his best when in a lecture room.
@benjaminjeffery6873Mr. Peterson is one of most lucid speakers of our times. If you don't come away with deep self-reflection then you didn't listen. Listen again!
@marvelouss719Thank you Jordan Peterson
@Robert_H_BrownWhen engaging in any conversation, seek to learn and come out smarter and more well-equipped. Don't be in it to impress others. Fancy that God gave you two ears but one mouth so you can listen more.
In dispute, make it a necessary rule to attempt to restate their position so much so that they would think "why didn't I put it like that?", so you don't create a strawman and they can correct you in your paraphrasal.

@motivationeyeI'd like a class on How to "Realistically" Listen to Someone. Too many instructions are not realistic and don't take into account the human nature of conversation.
@MHobbs43Dr. Jordan Peterson is one of a kind. He can relate things into different aspect and then connect everything possible. Speech, listening, work, many of the most valuable things normal people can not comprehend at first hand. It's like complex thoughts being compiled
to one small disk.
This man is all the way relevant from thousands of years ago up until today his messages are like travelling through time and reaching someone who can't make it through time.
God bless you Dr. Peterson, I hope you'll receive Jesus Christ because he will reveal to you so much things than you do. Thanks for clarifying things for us.

@nawraskhudhur7491If a relationship is not therapeutic, it's just for entertainment. Entertainment is therapy tho, idk.
