Eso eran canciones...

— @mariajesusnietovilla512

Johnny Logan won the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest in Brussels with his song 'Hold Me Now'. At that time, Johnny had already won in 1980 with 'What's Another Year' and had written the second-placed song in 1984, 'Terminal 3', performed in Luxembourg by Linda Martin.

Johnny was the first person to win the Contest twice as a singer.

His eyes are full of expression of what he sings. It’s so awesome!

Eurovision music quality has completely tanked since then! 2026 winner song, sounds like they forgot the lead singers voice in the recording. And only recorded the background choir

Quand mon fils est né le 29 avril 1980 j'écoutais en boucle cette chanson de Johnny Logan. Pour moi c'est et ce sera toujours la plus belle chanson de l'Eurovision ...

Johnny Logan was born in Australia in a suburb of Melbourne. The suburb is called Frankston which is southeast of the city and close to beaches. Some parts of Frankston are inhabited by people from low socio economic backgrounds. Other Melburnians make jokes about Frankston. I have met some good and not so pleasant people when I have visited Frankston. Perhaps one day someone will place a plaque to honor Johnny Logan as a famous former resident.
