Joe Bonamassa & Metropole Orkest | Live at North Sea Jazz 2025
Video Overview & Insights

@perryderijk7823Man oh man, what a magnificent evening with this Great Band! Special thanks to Joe.
@merilee-t5jHi Joe Again...I reckon, to add to this, I realise how important your mission is to support 'Music For The Young in America'...a kind of "Teach Your Children Well" moment by CSN&Y...as Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Cream, Robbie Robertson, Gordon Lightfoot, Sarah McLaughlin, The Tragically Hip, The Guess Who, Bob Marley and so many other great bands have played at 'Massey Hall'...a place of great history and culture...so just saying...give it a go, and I'll meet you there with countless friends and family... We the 'True North Strong and Free'...and your neighbours in 'Pro-Democracy' will not disappoint!
Massey Hall was just down the street from the famous 'Colonial Tavern', where we used to listen to the blues of Muddy Waters, James Cotton, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, BB King, all this following the Jazz Scene of the 50's and 60's...with Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Gene Krupa and more...
Hi Joe and the Band, I saw you recently with my son [the next generation] in Toronto at the Great Canadian Casino...your concert was remarkable, every bit as good as the one I took my daughter to in the old Chicago Theatre a few moons, however the Casino Venue is restrictive in terms of legal age...so I'd recommend when you play next in Toronto, entertain the idea of playing at 'Massey Hall' a venue with much better acoustics and heritage, plus it's downtown,,,no hiking out the sticks and they have no issues with the teenage crowd...who want to witness your music. So please make a point of this if you can. The hotels, bars, restaurants downtown are so much better also...no crazy commutes as we've got public transpiration in spades. My best to you Stephen, from Perth, Ontario, Canada
