Another show where none of the characters are good people. Even Jim, who is the titular Everyman with a wicked sense of humor, isn't really a good person just a charming rogue. Sure, it's funny as long as his pranks aren't aimed at one of the less annoying or more pitiful characters.

I never liked the “character” of Jim and Pam. I have always thought of them as ABSOLUTELY terrible people: “counterpunchers” who mock and make fun of in a behind-their-back manner others who exhibit authentic if flawed personality traits. Yet, AMERICA thinks of them as darlings … but they’re just terrible people. Is Dwight odd? Is Angela odd? Stanley? Meredith? Yes, yes, yes. But they exhibit personality (albeit odd and funny) in an affirmative, authentic, this-is-me way … while the “characters” of Jim and Pam smuggly snicker at all of them behind their backs all the time and play stupid tricks over and over again aimed at them. There is simply nothing honorable in these two characters. Yet … America ADORES them. If I’m the only one who thinks these two “characters” are awful … so be it. Then I am a club of one. What do you think? Again, I am just writing about the “characters” of Jim and Pam: I’m sure the real actors are very nice people.
