So meconium is your newborn’s first poop. And it has a very sticky, thick, dark green color, almost like bile. It contains amniotic fluid, intestinal cells, bile salts, pancreatic enzymes, and so much more. And babies typically will pass this meconium in the first few hours, or within a day after birth. After your baby clears out all that meconium, regular pooping starts! You’ll notice your baby’s poop becoming thinner in consistency and lighter in color.

Any earth tone is common. So parents will go like, the color is orange, the color is green, the color is like leafy color—totally normal for it to be any color earthtone. Eventually, in breastfed babies, you may see more yellow, seedy stools. Formula fed babies may have more of that greenish stool...

Now, Dr. Mona says there are two colors to look out for: black and white poops. This could be a sign of old blood, meaning not fresh blood, but blood that's somewhere in the digestive tract that we don't know about or that was kind of digesting and now they're pooping it out. Now if your child has white poop and looks yellow in the skin. This is a red flag because this can be a sign of jaundice and an obstruction in the biliary tract. The biliary tract is what gives us our colors of poop. And, of course, red, bloody poops are RED FLAGS!

Bowel Movements in Babies

https://www.uofmhealth.org/health-library/abo3062

i greatly appreciate the video but if your kid ends up hating you bc of that one bit they'd be fully justified :/

— @zviyeri9117

"By 6 weeks of age, your baby may not have a bowel movement every day. This usually isn't a problem as long as your baby seems comfortable and is healthy and growing, and as long as the stools aren't hard."

Indian Grandparents are expert on this matter coz they know what they fed their babies and what those food materials are made of to compenant level 😂

Modern day parents are clueless what they have even feeding their children 🙄

Study finds toxic in baby diapers

https://www.deccanchronicle.com/lifestyle/health-and-wellbeing/021020/study-finds-toxic-in-baby-diapers.html

It makes me uncomfortable, not disgusted but uncomfortable since it’s talking about cutting open bellies

— @adityachk2002

" As a diaper is in direct contact with the external genitals of infants and toddlers for several months to years, there is a possibility that phthalates can enter the bodies of babies through dermal absorption and can cause adverse health impacts on the children."

Why does it seem to me that Angel is used as a prop in this video? She seems to be interjected in for more of a comedic purpose than an informative purpose. (Example: 4:08)
