Apple is slowly dropping the balls when it comes to ios updates for few years older iPhones. I remember in older iPhones apple still used to give you almost all the features of a new iPhone running the new ios except things like bigger battery life and better cameras. But now Apple is gate keeping almost all features for only a year or Max two years old iPhone and junking all older iPhones with releasing nothing new for them except maybe another rainbow coloured wallpaper.
