I regret updating to IOS 26 also there are some settings options that don’t show up in the settings app idk if it’s apple trying to keep us from turning this stuff off literally I like apple I do but they are just wasting time making the IPhone good instead of upgrading it the battery literally I’m bout to switch to android 1# the battery is good and lasts a bit longer then iPhone
2# has a bit of good features to lower the quality

@Baksk-l7tI don’t even have “Clean Energy Charging” in my 17 Pro Max. Mine is 26.5.1 anyway, I can’t even be bothered with all its features. I just use it for call and texting. I’m just an old man using an iPhone for a normal use. I don’t even use any of its apps. 🤷

@StringDriverHELP! My phone downloaded iOS 26.5 and now the battery lasts HALF of what it used to! I went through this video again thinking, oh the update probably reset everything. But no. Everything was still set as you explained in this video. I need my phone to last all day. What did iOS 26.5 DO??? And how do I undo it???
@mysticpirateMy iPhone updated to ios 26.5 and it has pratically killed my iphone. It keeps shutting down. I've come back to your video that I watched in January to turn off as many things as possuble that I did when my phone first went to ios 26.

@KetilJørstadI had a 14 loaner phone while my 16 pro was getting repaired. The battery difference is insane and it’s mostly just software. Newer phones get throttled and older phones get overclocked. Both results in poor performance

@magicunicorn6535The biggest issue I’ve had recently was the iOS 25.6 update which gobbled up the last remaining 20gb of storage on my iPhone 13 making it almost unusable 😠 The phone also started getting hot. I’ve been told to call apple support to talk to a ‘senior advisor’ because it is an ‘unexpected occurrence’. Curious if it really is just me
