Internations.org Review
Video Overview & Insights
We all know networking is important, but what's the best way to meet people outside of your current circle? Try internations.org. Dyci talks briefly about the site and the pros of using internations.org for networking.
Hello, how are you? I tried to get membership in the Turin community but I was rejected two hours after I sent my application. However, for an academic project I am doing a research on how InterNations works, I understand there is a billing process but I am not so sure... can you or anyone in the comments who has been part of a community tell me more about their experience? Thanks!

@joex3200Internation was fun for me in Hong Kong. Met a couple of friends there. However, I noticed some sort of clicks within the group. I don't think I want to renew my membership in Europe as there's no group in my city. And they don't really like creating new groups.
@bbnCRLBHello
@ashleyjohn6933Internations are reckless. DONT EVER PAY!!!! its an headache to get your refund.
@DimasShkrebetsWhere are you from? I'm from Iraq and I'd like to be your friend.

@МихаилЕгендурдыевI tried to get membership in Internations but didn't got it yet... Tell me what to do ?
@vagabond_ramanInternations is a fraudulent enterprise. Join it at your peril.
They present themselves as a social enterprise based in Germany. They arrange social events in cities around the world and charge a fee to attend. All well and good, but, they offer you a discount if you sign up for an Albatross membership. This is one dead bird you don't want around your neck.
They require payment by credit card. The renewal is an "opt out" program. You must use their website to cancel it and it can only be accessed if you have a paid up membership. Sounds okay, right? But they do not advise you of the consequences. They will automatically bill your credit card without advance notice of the renewal. They anticipate they will be able to get away with it as most people forget renewal dates anyway. But if you do not pay, if for example your card has expired, or you have closed that account, Internations will hound you. They will send threatening emails without end. They threaten to contact credit agencies to force you to pay. Advising them of your desire to cancel results only in more threats and telling you that you can only cancel through the website, which is of course closed to you until you pay.
The annual membership is $83.40. Many people will pay it just to be rid of them. Do not get involved with this company or you will be harassed until you pay. Best never to join in the first place. I wish I hadn't.
thanks for very open review about internations network.
@khalequzzamnmiraj3293DO NOT JOIN!! Do not give InterNations any money. Creepy men will contact you and their invoice office is very aggressive. Avoid them.
@saol3294Thanks for your review. My experience has been the opposite. They have very unethical practices where it relates to paid membership, particularly if you never use the service and decide to cancel. I barely used their service over a year or two year period, was automatically "renewed", and later when I changed my credit card, after it had been compromised, they sent me a slew of threatening email messages, warning that they would institute collection proceedings if I did not provide my updated credit card information. The fact I had not used their services for months, thought they sucked, and had no interest in using them in the future was of no consequence to them. They said my membership had automatically renewed and nothing could be done. They had provided no prior notice by email that it would automatically renew unless cancelled, and began sending the threatening emails, all boilerplate, within a couple of days of when they asserted my membership had been renewed. The bottom line is that making a profit is more important to them than the welfare of its members. Don''t join!!
@macnamara60This is a dangerously disguised dating site used primarily by men targeting naive, helpless, disenfranchised immigrant women.
Please he vigilant and highly aware. Do NOT post photos or a sad story. Do NOT agree to meet. Though I erred my complaints to the Ambassador and lead organizer of our Calgary, Alberta area...she did NOTHING to remove the serial predator. They are all in it for promiscuity. Please be aware.
Internations is terrible. They automatically bill you; make it impossible to figure out how to cancel without calling. Their customer service is terrible and when you ask for the contact to make a complaint, they respond that there is no one and say they will no longer respond. It's simply unacceptable.
@CarlyMasseyDear Mrs,
I really appreciate what you introduced about the internations.
I have already signed up, but i am still waiting for the confirmation link, I haven't received it until now.
Check trustpilot and other review sites. It's a scam.

@altavistasfoIt seemed like a good organization at first, but BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT PAID MEMBERSHIP.
I paid for an Albatross membership, and did not realize they will bill your credit card every year, without sending you a notice that they will do so prior to billing.
I had not been using the organization, for two year and was billed without realizing. Okay, my bad. However, when my credit card number changed, they issued a membership again, without asking me first.
I immediately asked them to cancel my membership, but they refused and said I could only cancel, after first paying (no refund of course). They refused to have any person that i could speak to on the phone, and said they would call collections.
Don’t be scammed like this. If you join then do not give them your credit card information. Stick with a free membership is best.
