The V3 London gun was designed as revenge weapon by Germany and designed to be permanently aimed at London 100 miles away. If fully built this would have been the longest gun in history. With a barrel over 440 feet long, that could hurl projectiles at speeds in excess of Mach 4. The Germans were built a huge underground complex in Northern France that was designed to house 25 of these guns to ensure a continuous bombardment of London. Completely ignoring the price and impracticality and assuming the gun worked perfectly and was perfectly supplied, what would they have done after london? Like assuming London was Completely flattened, what would they do with the gun after it was done. Its a ginormous construction project and would literally have to be Completely abandoned once London was done for

LOL capable of firing 600 rounds an hour....I don't think so and anyone with half a brain can work that out too, each rocket fired is not simply placed into a breach and fired like an artillery shell, you have to load every single propellant tube up the pathway as well, it takes HOURS to reload even ONE rocket LOL...WHO is reloading the 32 propellant tubes PER GUN... SUPERMAN? 600 rounds an hour LOL....WHAT. With the design planned for 25 total they would have been lucky to fire 25 per hour. 600...GTFO lol

@ItsDeebsThis is basically the inverse of a multiple-stage rocket, with multiple "stages" of propellant stacked inside a gun barrel boosting a shell. One method has clearly proved the more practical.

@Minos_PRIME-It feels a lil stupid to build all of this, just to be only able to shoot at one place, eventually they’re gonna learn and just give the crater a wide berth, at which point your big gun became useless
