Unless you have money for a private lawyer or bond , you can languish in jail for years. It's terrible, unfair and sickening to think there are so many people committing crimes.

you question why people in there would make the place that they live so trashy , look at the areas most of them are from they’re from places of poor conditions so why would anyone expect them to go jail and start being super clean all of a sudden

this is insane that this is only county jail none of these people have even been actually convicted of their crime yet they’re all supposed to be innocent til proven guilty absolutely cannot believe they can’t go outside that should be a humans rights violation they aren’t even able to breath fresh air for years

I was in there 24 yrs ago and a horrible experience 😢. Boy things have changed completely, and Ive watched several reels on Facebook of this awful place .Misdemeanor charges and happier they were dropped. Im out of a abusive relationship and I moved here in Gulfport, MS.😊

its sad that prsions are ran better and prisoner get treated better in prison than in jail. some of this is true and some is lies, some of the stuff the ppl u interviewed was lyin just covering their butts, the cop that said about housing and they have to wait to their sentenced to know where to put them, bs. u walk in there with charges and if u have a history they know it, so there fore thats a pretty good amount of info on how to house that inmate. then once their sentenced then if they need to be rehoused then u can, but they have plenty of info when a prisoner walks in to property house some1. without having ppl who have commited serous crimes next to ppl commiting minor crimes. and the excuse to not fix something cause some1 will break it, well make a better version, thats jails that dont want to spend money on the newer design stuff for prisons and jails thats harder to break and use for other reasons. i believe they still got some croocked ppl in the system there, just off of the video foodage of the inside of the prison.
