Inside Arsenal’s £400m Emirates Stadium Expansion — The Risky Plan That Could Change Everything

Video Overview & Insights

Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium is maxed out, with 100,000 fans stuck waiting while rivals cash in. This deep dive breaks down the £300m–£500m expansion debate—build up, dig down, or face a risky Wembley exile—and why politics and transport could stop it cold.

Please don’t make it look like that thumbnail picture!! 😂😂😂

Has to be at least a 80 thousand seat stadium , 20 thousand extra to make it worthwhile. Anything less seems a waste of time and especially opertunity.

7:41 Dude’s crazy. Wembley would be packed to capacity every game! Spurs problem was they just don’t have the fan base The Gunners have. You mention earlier in the video there are more than 30k on the season ticket waiting list! What a 🤡

How is Wembley souless?

Just reduce each seat size by 20% and ban anyone over 80kg. Job done.

It needs to happen but I honestly can't see it happening. It seems too big of project for it to be completely successful

Arsenal we can fill Wembley anytime fool

Terrible video. Talking about a problem that doesn’t even exist. Amongst the incredible amount of nonsense in this video, suggesting Arsenal wouldn’t fill Wembley is wild lol

If you want to move up, you have to make some sacrifices.. not necessarily too much.. but moving temporarily to Wembley is an option, or, if it's not too painful, can ground-share with West Ham at the London stadium where West Ham is also just a tenant.. and I think the most difficult technical part is the roof.. unless they are not happy with the current state and design of the stadium itself.. if they move out temporarily, then they can dismantle the roof.. and then just build the stadium wider to include streamlining the quadrants/corners and make the stadium square in shape rather than an oval.. and there will be enough support if you develop totally the four corners to hold a new cantilevered roof.. and then they can also dig lower inside the stadium to lower the pitch level and install probably another 2,000 to 2,500 seats along the pitchsides to bring the fans closer and make The Ashburton Grove Stadium more intimidating?

Rent Wembley Next Season and do it.. Arsenal have to do this .. Rent Wembley..

Arsenal played at Wembley before, and filling seats was never a problem, however we did play poorly there.

Build upwards is the only option.

I did ask this question when arsenal build the stadium why only 60.000 why they didn’t do it that time minimum 80.000

@Zizou25219

Doesn’t take much for sp*ts to fail. They’re in their nice shiny new stadium and still shite. We’re not sp*rs.

Nothing is impossible. You're only limited by the smallness of your imagination.

0:19 statistics have nothing to do with "Arsenal's capacity ranking sliding down the premier league table", the majority of the first half of this video is nonsense

"wasn't designed to grow" um yes it was

2:19 Yep, just to get relegated and play in the Championship….😂 All jokes aside, COYG!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I miss Highbury

@kudzukid12

It is all about planning permission, they should offer to contribute to underground station renovations to help with the fans coming to Arsenal. Hopefully they can get it done

@jackwilliam2965

No need. It will only set us back again another 20 years. Look. At Spurs.

@musharafhussain2316
@

can we find new place to build and change old place to condos and houes.

@andrewkim1285
@

How about fillings in the corners, it will only raise the capacity a small amount but would still be more.

@tommossetto2265

Arsenal should buy Tottenham's stadium when they get relegated. Not like the Spuds will need it

@StallQuade69
@

We can always build on the train tracks. Since the seats being added on the higher tier, the trains can easily pass below it like through a tunnel.

@subhajit201
@

Arsenal could fill 110,000 seats all day long, filling Wembley is no problem, no idea why you think this is the problem…

@the_one1001
@

This is total bullshit. First part of the video, you said there’s a 100k backlog for season tickets. After which, you say Arsenal will struggle to fill Wembley. 😂

@acessvxx6837
@

Why didn't they build the Emirates with the view of future expansion in the first place?

Arsenal should first win some titles before humiliating more fans! 60K is not too low if compared to other stadiums. They can simply attract other events in the stadium to increase revenue but without the team winning a few pl and cl then expanding makes sense

North London is definitely home for Arsenal, going elsewhere outside London is not an option, expansion Real Madrid style is the only way, use of Wembley during the construction years will eb acceptable to fans. So lets just get going with it. If Naming Right can bring in as much 200M, what is anyone waiting for ?
