😭 How cruel humans are to shoot an animal, especially so many times. Barbaric! I am thankful that kind-hearted, gentle rescuers found their way to him to render aid. The look in the big cat’s eyes spoke volumes. I hope the perpetrator(s) of this evil is caught and faces justice for their actions. 💔🙏

I went inside the Jaguar cage at the former Hadlow wildlife park with the supervision of the owner, they were just pups but i was still very nervous. I might put photo on my facebook.

No one’s mentioning how someone possibly saved themselves and or their family and or friends with a trusty shotgun when a fierce predator was closing in for the slaughter. “Hey man nice shot”, whoever that was, just like that song by the band Filter. Deterred the killer but didn’t kill it. Hopefully it sees people and thinks differently the next time. His face is saying “will you tell that guy who had that long metal boomstick in his hands that I’m sorry and won’t try to eat you people again?” Experience is the best teacher.

That Jaguar must have been very desperate trying to cross the Rio Negro at that point. In the background you notice a bridge. This is the Ponte Rio Negro which is 3.6 km wide and spans over this river. I cannot imagine what effort it took this Onca trying to reach the other shore. On the other hand, he/she was very lucky that the Policia Militar was stationed there. A few miles up or down the river, this would have gone entirely unnoticed and he/she would have most likely drowned.

I just rescued a baby fawn in a river yesterday that a dog was attacking. Brought it back. It was so awesome helping it survive. Jumped in didnt even hesitate. Saving things is just instincts to me. If i end up getting hurt or dying saving something i am good with that 😊 i love animals
