I don't know who are those dumb experts claiming Indo-USA defense cooperation when there exists no such framework. India is merely purchasing American GE engines, Apache helicopters & UAVs. We don't have any joint design & development agreement nor any local manufacturing license like with Russians to assemble SU-30 & AL-31 engines. So India must be least bothered about Trump & Co. However even on Russian side joint development makes no sense when we have indigenous AMCA under development. Only Outright purchase of 40-60 units of SU-57 to make up GAP due to delay in AMCA project makes sense.
