These lazy assholes wants another 7 years to modify Tejas with a new engine so that they can get their son and son in law into Hal for another 20 years of luxurious job.

Cancel 2nd MK1 order (guess in 90s). Ibvest in kaveri 2.0 and redesigned Mk1 and Mk2 around it. Explore Japan for tie-up, if needed. In 7 years we can do all Kaveri 2.0, Kaveri 3.0 (if seriously Safran helps in brand new engine for AMCA. new MK1, New MK2. .

Rather if redesigning is needed do it for twin engine. First with M88 or Sone Russian engine with Indegenous inputs..

Private must be encouraged to have its contrubutiin in inhouse satellites development as satellites are playing key role in modern days .

This news of increase in defence production in terms of rupees may be mainly because of increase in cost rather than other reasons

Guvt. must push Mk2 variant prototype development flexible enough to be compatible with twin engine configuration of different oem.

Already witnessing delays with long waiting period for induction and delivery, this makes clear cut ground to have mk2 variants of different config. to go in development parallely.

Time consumed here remains the same adding more understanding on complexities designing part etc.

AI here will be adding momentum to this project.

It will open the doors to futuristic programs to be inhouse development. 😊

There is nothing wrong with developing a new Tejas variant with the Saffran M-88 engine and the indigenous Kaveri mk2 as it improves our ability to export and reduce dependence on USA. Do not trust USA.

Glad to see Bharat Forge getting contracts for Marine Gas Generators. Given their past history, hopefully we can have Godrej and Bharat Forge providing Marine Propulsion systems for Indian Navy's various platforms.

I think USA got successful in influencing our tejas program and made sure that it gets dependend on ge f404 engine by bribing HAL emplyoees. Thats why they made the it such that it would take such long time to just change the engine somthat they dont think about it. All the HAL employees involved in the project in the past or present should be investigated and if found gulty, they shoukd be jailed for life.

Reverse engineering is a vital step to end the dependence on import of jet engines. First get your hands on your own development of Jet engines, go for your own stealth body , Test bed and finally get prepared to roar in the sky with your indigenous technology.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Never go for F414 and F404 engines for they get sanctions over supply over US uncertain behaviour. The US has a back stabbing record over the history.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Looks like USA has sabotaged Tejas MK1A by stalling GE404 engine delivery.

India should focus more on modern warfare rather than conventional warfare equipment which are actually proved to be ineffective, expensive and may become completely obsolete in future.

India must commence work on possible future integration of kaveri or M88 engine for tejas. Its need of the future requirements and if we do it may be the integration and induction would not require much time. Do it rather then just complaining.

The original Tejas was designed around the Kaveri jet engine, not the GE F-404.

That HAL engineer is justifying his inefficiency. If sizes and data about moments , various centres and force exertions are noted. Frame changes can be completed in one year unless you want to complicate things with unusually long certification processes meant to stall development.
