Yes DRDO or Think tank of MoD have emphasized about Defensive Game Play and I support it but under playing Attacking Game Plan is not correct.
Our Armed Startegy never be in offensive except defensive China ecentric Nations ( Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal ) are entrusted in Offensive Startegy
India should plan such a way that for once for all the security threats may be addressed in Offensive way such that in future citizens of India will live prosporus life
