Another YouTuber made the connection between AI and the Xhosa people and now I’m more anti AI than ever.
The Xhosa people famously sacrificed all of their cattle and crops in 1856 to spirits/gods after being told that doing so would make the spirits happy and the spirits would return larger herds, endless milk and kick out the white man among other promises.
The chief ordered every field burned, every animal slaughtered, every piece of food stuffs destroyed.
40,000 Xhosa people starved to death and 50,000 had to abandon their homes and move to Cape Colony

They are benevolent little gods that only look out for the interests of regular people. We know this because scientists and those in government have surpassed the human sin nature and would never be motivated by selfishness, pride, or greed.
