Gaming on YouTube has always been competitive, so that hasn't really changed. However, the way I'd approach starting a gaming channel right now has!
But what about gaming community websites? There is Zowned.
In this video, we'll focus on the decisions that gaming channels on YouTube need to consider when they're starting a new channel or even if they're trying to grow an existing one.

The Rad Brad is the biggest gaming channel on YouTube the consecutively gains 100s of thousands if not millions of views and yet nobody has seen to actually sit down and ask him how he does it? why? I know he likes to keep private but not even a podcast?

@OniLygerLiveThis was a great video thanks. Been building my channel for a couple of years and having fun. I have just hit 300 subs, got a long way to go but loving the journey. Any tips for a sim racing channel?

@arokiingamingI work a job from 8-4 and will be starting my junior year in high school and doing online college, is that going to make this even harder to do?
@The.Real.One1776Austin john
@n.salma8599I’ve gained 27 new subscribers past 2 weeks and have 858 now. It takes time to find your game and your audience. If you have the passion you will make it. Always be improving never get comfortable with your craft
@ANNUNAKITRACKSI have 5 subscribers and I’m happy honestly..
@topguy404I've been trying for 4 years now and only have 533 subscribers 😭
Still appreciate every single one though!!

@sanroe54What about a gamer dad niche?
@nbhbadboy2026In my country, you don't need to do all that. Just play games, upload them, talk nonsense and here you have millions of views. How? Because adult people don't watch gaming videos in my country. It's mostly little children and children don't have taste. Playing children game is far more profitable than playing games for adults. Children don't analyse things like adults. They simply see shiny thumbnail, click on it and watch until the end.
@cenationofjnuwho describes bg3 and lden ring as pc games? why not say fantasy rpgs?
@DonBonBelioBomboКто в шахматы играет?
@GVolynets""Hi, I am a graphic designer and I have created an attractive YouTube thumbnail for your channel that can help increase your viewers and click-through rate. However, I am currently unable to send the thumbnail here. If you're interested, please let me know an alternative way to share it with you."

@harbscantinaThis kind of content should be dead. It's outdated, and a nuke war is coming.

@snehalbhai_pawarStarted a channel around a month ago having never edited a video before, currently have 9 videos on my channel with each one I feel like I'm getting better with my editing. Slowly letting my personality come through on camera having been quite nervous. I'm enjoying the process...onwards and upwards 💪
@retroandy4really nice video, the content feels clear and the pacing keeps it easy to watch till the end
@KIaskolnmftryWeakolnmfrsdpotyHere with only 97 Subs but I hope to make it this year! Watch this space
@jukinTVOK so the real question for my fellow commenting people here...
Did you try what they suggested? Did it work for any of you? Are you getting views? Are you getting subscribers?
The info is solid, but it's certainly not for every gaming channel. It's clearly more oriented to guides and game information channels, not gameplay.
Idk if what you're doing is silently admitting there's no way to grow a gameplay channel, but I think there is. You can be a novel creator playing a well known game with a unique perspective and a compelling set of rules. But, for that, you don't need to be the fastest, nor the first. You can only be the best (at what you do).
It helps when you are the ONLY.
I started my channel a few months ago. I am a 58 year old gamer that isn't very good compared to the young guns, but I use that to my advantage to create funny/awkward situations. I'm not expecting to become a successful/famous streamer, I just do it because I enjoy the whole process. Learning how to make thumbnails, editing, understanding how the algorythms work. It is fun.
@WhiskeyMulletSo I went from 13/14 subs in my first years on YouTube (I wasn't really creating until last year) I'm now at over 7k+ gained in the past 9 months. However I'm terrified because whenever I upload anything else... It flops in the algorithm.
