I received my results today and my writing was the worst 😭 (6), it was my first attempt and I scored 7.5 overall(academic).(6.5 in my speaking, 8 listening, and 8.5 in my reading. (;
For speaking I just watched your videos, I'm just not good at communicating no matter if it's English or my native language.👀😅 And about writing, for those who are still in the process of improving their general English but have the aim for IELTS, start writing even if terrible, I didn't write regularly during my learning journey and couldn't manage to improve it just during preparation. Hi! I know this is mostly unrelated to the video, but I managed to score a 7.5 in my IELTS GENERAL TEST, and while this is a great achievement, I actually have no idea what to do with it....

Like, I literally took the test because my father said I should just in case, it is my understanding that the IELTS GENERAL is meant to be used for migration and work, but I have no idea about what kind of work or vocational thing I could get into, seeing as I have no university degree or PHD.

Does anyone know what I can do? Which people should I talk too? Anything?

I gave my Academic IELTS exam( as a non-native and first time test taker ) just a couple days back and received the results:

Overall 8 bands
With L & R : 8.5 bands
Speaking : 8 bands and
Writing : 7.5 bands


This channel helped me alot plus the advice to do task 1 in the end as it literally forces your brain to survive or be dead really helped me

In my opinion, AI is only helpful for normal feedback and what to improve. But literal grading? 0 band tip

And about Vocabs...I feel like It's helpful for long term because we will get time to learn about them and can learn to use in essay properly.
But for short term? F tier

If the question from speaking part 1 islike that '' What types of jobs do most people do in your home town'' should we have to mention at least 2 kinds of jobs or not? Though the vedio is not about speaking, it is the latest vedio from your channel. This is because I asked the question here.

hi Chris!!!! I only watch your videos for 2 days straight like first 30 videos from newest to oldest and did 2 practice for reading, writing, listening and speaking!!!! I got 7.5.. i followed by heart your advice to use simple vocabulary and maybe used only 2 complex word for speaking and writing as long as I am sure on how to use it!!! thank you so much!!! topic was creating a letter for 60 year old visitors what they will do when they visit you, what do they need to prepare. part 2 was to write on government to tax more for unhealthy food write your opinion, for speaking its travel by car which one you remember the most. then part 2 was discussion on public transport!!! really help me a lot to understand the exam and use your brain only and dont inject complex task and flow!!!! more power to you man.. listening 7.5 writing 7 reading 7 speaking 7
