I talked like this during my Speaking assessment exam, and I got 7.5. English is my second language, btw.

@thepopdiva93

@nhungoc7795

Actually, he deserves 7

Scammers ! Scammers! Bad games!Almost like playing a games.Funny thing is this guy likes every thing from fast foods to home cooking,he forgot to add some beer .Schools only gives many lessons to memorize that why every time they sound like a machine.If I am in the teacher seat I will ask a question that students never heard before such as β€œ What do you think about the war in Ukraine and why did Putin invade this country and who will win?

@samguitar7232
@

how is this gets a band 9? on section 2 he did everything but propoerly and directly answering the question, he basically gave a small lecture on why helping other are important in what ways we can do it. he did not respond the question, that's a major fail.

@ezgi6392
@

this doesn't feel band 9, more like 7.5 or 8

if the test-maker and candidate change position im sure the test-maker fails vs him. Because he even not asking the question without looking at the paper.

@ercanalper5929

So do we really need to use complex words and structures during speaking part?

@XingranLai-s7j
@

tip: being a native speaker helps.

@susmoys
@

It is not 9, it is 9.5

@Komola-o2m

Thank you very much, Rose Academy.

I wonder if anyone realize that how he talked about "Decribled a time you help a stranger" does not forcus on the topic. He just showed the important of helping stranger and the people in a general way. It's not "a time". But I really love his voice, his English is absolutely good.

@TrangNguyen-ne8ze
@

I got soo scared when he started talking, when the writing minute has passed, because I kind of forgot that the video wasn't paused

@frontend_coder
@

But why should a native speaker need to pass this test in the first place?!

@sammorten3778
@

he didnt even answer part 2 ...

@Playerdata-r7d
@

Till now one of the best logical speaker I am noticing...

@animalrescuer9111
@

I spoke better than this and I got a 7.5

@iliketrees.0_0

He didn't even answer the question in part 2, he just babbled something. In ielts, they always say if you don't have experience in that area, just make something up, but you gave him a 9. It's impossible to get a 9 with his Part 2 answer on a normal exam.

Seems like this guy mastered language in a way that it impressed me a lot more than regular IELTS takers

@JavoxirMurodov-c7y6m

So just speak like a virtual AI assistant. Understood πŸ‘πŸ»

I talked exactly like this guy in my IELTS speaking test and only got band 7.5. It is true that you can gain high band by responding quickly but those β€œumm” and β€œahh” that he frequently made should have lowered his fluency score a lot. I suppose an easy examiner is the main factor to have high band after all?

@thangxeap1389
@

This is one of the performances that doesn't feel "impressive" but at the same time you can't point out what's wrong with it

@noideawhatever
@

I too also had a lot of uhm, ah during IELTS but as long as you use native phrases and use them correctly and have a vast amount of these vocabulary you'll get good points. I even spoke like I was on an interview in which sounds hesitant but then band 7. One thing to remember just try to sound like Native English speaker, not accent but words and phrases.

@Subnet255
@

You know me little go

@IDkBotr
@

I am not sure that this man is deserved for band 9, I think 8 or 8+ for mark.

@karnadanasution9896
@

This should be band 7.5

@SkibidiAmbush21

Umm?

@Cortis_Babymon_Blackpink

So insane

@congnguyenvan9149

I speak like this all the time and still score a band 7. I guess the band depend on the examiner.or IELTS is a money making scheme ❀

@Mercy-ce6es
