I Went Undercover Inside Goat Academy — Felix Prehn Exposed
Video Overview & Insights
I went undercover as a prospective student of Felix Prehn's
If Goat Academy denied your refund, here's what to do: (1) Email Felix requesting refund, (2) If denied, dispute the charge with your credit card company immediately, (3) File an FTC complaint at ftc.gov. Drop your experience below — I'm building a case.
Goat Academy — a $3,000 to $8,000 options trading course that
promises "consistent profits" and an "unbeatable 90-day money
Your review and analysis is out dated. Felix Prehn posts several YouTube videos weekly. Options are NOT discussed. It's strictly stocks and ETFs. While not a financial markets professional, after about 40 years experience ( October 1987 was an eye-opener ) as a self-directed investor, I consider myself knowledgeable. I have never observed any incorrect information in his presentations. I have found his perspectives informative (risk management principles in particular) and absolutely consider my self a better investor after viewing Felix Prehn's videos. I have not signed up for his training program so cannot address your claimed difficulties about receiving the guaranteed refund. I do agree that his stated background has confused me in that the timeline does not appear to me completely plausible. But it's not his Bio that interests me. I'll wager you're quite a hit at parties, eh?
back guarantee."
I had a full sales call with their enrollment specialist Aaron.
I had a zoom call with one of his enrollment specialist 2 days ago. Raised many red flags as well and I'm not even such an expert as you are. Since your video, prices have increased a lot. 6 month 1-on-1 is now 10.000US$ !! Uprfont payment of course, which makes no sense when you deliver a service and not some goods to someone's door. That strategy actually aligns with the supposed refund policy that is never applied, according to your video; they cash 100% in and if you're not convinced you're the loser. Also, the guy I talked to told me it was not a trading course, rather for investment only. Then I asked for a tour within the community, which he did, and there is a specific group for traders, day traders etc. Also he coudn't answer when I asked "wait, so you never go short, only long?"... He didn't know what does this mean. Of course through his thorough analysis of my situation he recommended the 12 month 1-on1 program (15.000 US$) but after pushing him a little bit saying I didn't have this kind of money, we finally reached other "cheaper" options; like 4 months program or group learning (no coach involved). I'm happy to provide you with more information if you need to (I have the video recorded) as I can see prices have been up a lot; I also read elsewhere prices may vary according to how much money you're showing to have. Course's fees are never disclosed until the very end of the sales pitch by the way. Hope that helps.
I asked basic math questions about the strategy. He couldn't
answer them. Felix then recorded me a custom video response
I think what he meant was a proprietary trading trading firm. What he described sounds like a prop trading firm.
where he dodged the question entirely.
So I did the math myself.
thanks alot. I am also in trading and he is recommending stocks with no EPS. What a joke! Like your videos though
Every single credit spread you place using Felix's system has

trade, before commissions. The more you trade his system, the
more you lose.
I used to have guys review a product I have taken for years, but the YouTuber never tried the product. If you never paid for the course, you have an opinion on which you are entitled. Did you do Tom Nash and all the other people also? I paid $17, 000 dollars, and I learned enough that it was worth it. I would say to state your level of experience so they can direct you to the proper lessons. But I am a good judge of character, and Felix is a straight arrow. Some people in life and my wife are one of them who trusts no one.
In this video I expose:
→ Felix's fake investment banking background (I worked at 3 banks — he's lying)
I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been following Felix for about a year, and a good example is his silver prediction videos. In one video, he was basically saying you should buy silver, and then a week later he was saying you should sell it. It feels like the narrative changes very quickly, which makes it hard to know what to trust or follow consistently.
→ The math proving his strategy loses money on EVERY trade
→ How the "90-day money back guarantee" is designed to trap you
I watched a few of his videos and some were OK. I signed up for his webinar but decided against it. There were a few red flags. The first was the sheer number of videos he was posting. He was trying way too hard. There were one or two a day. If he's making so much money by investing, why is he devoting so much time to his you tube channel? The second was why was he asking for my email and phone number...sales funnel. Sure enough several emails came through. I never went to his webinar but there were emails about signing up. The last one was "Logan" who asked me to get in touch to set me up. I ran a mile.
→ The undercover sales call where Aaron can't explain the strategy
→ Felix's custom video where he fails to understand basic concepts
The only "rule" he seems to advertise is momentum trading.
Using moving average to generate buy and sell signals.
Anybody found some significant addition?
→ Why he uses animals to psychologically manipulate your trust
→ Trustpilot reviews from scammed students including a single mom
his marketing scam strategy explained in the video:
f*ck it. exposing how felix prehn makes $3M/mo on YouTube (genius)
→ The fine print admitting all trades may be HYPOTHETICAL
If you've been scammed by Goat Academy:
nice explanation of his marketing scam strategy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98m4074HLfE
1. Email Felix requesting a refund (1-2 times)
2. If denied, immediately dispute the charge with your credit card company
his investing strategy:
Power Move 1: Heartbeat Pattern
Power Move 2: 50-Day Moving Average
Power Move 3: Volume = Power
3. Tell your credit card company you are a fraud victim
4. File a complaint with the FTC (ftc.gov) if you're in the US
Felix is toxic fraud
5. Contact your local consumer protection agency
TIMESTAMPS:
I like Felix and he's made me money just by listening to his free videos. Sounds like you're Gen-Z'n your way out of making money.
0:00 - Why Felix Prehn Is The Most Dangerous Trading Guru Online
2:50 - Felix Claims He Was an Investment Banker (He's Lying)
Well, i think every paid course of a youtuber is sort of shitty, i don't know this program but it probably is like any other. The webinar follows exactly the regular guidelines of selling programas (look at becker, he explains this sort of... marketing strategies). Also in the videos he plays a character, but most youtubers do, if you look at them, they try to be unique and memorable, some dress themselves like military, a simple guy in pijamas, some show you a lot of money, and some sell freedom and puppies. It is kind of fake, but it may also be format he chose, and in youtube it appears to be the rule, not the exeption. Having said that, his stock picks have worked just fine for me

12:03 - Felix Gets The Profit Math Completely Wrong
I think there is some value in his original strategy for new traders - look for wallstreet moves and the flow, look for the MAs, decide the entry and look at the MAs continuously for taking profit/exit. With the stock market in flux consistently, this strategy, while not created by him, is pretty effective.
14:18 - He Doesn't Understand Basic Options Concepts
16:24 - The "Public Portfolio" That Shows No Real Statements
I think he just creates videos based off repackaging other people's content, because he'll blatantly contradict himself from one video to the next.

Lets make one thing clear: having a wine business says absolutely nothing about him being a fraud as an investor. Being an investment banker doesnt prohibit you from owning a vinyard. I am not saying he is legit, but the fact that he owns a wine business, doesnt proove he isnt.
Otherwise, I would take with a whole bag of salt any youtuber who claims to be a financial expert. If you are such an expert, you wont need to bother with youtube content creation....you would have more than enough money from investing. The same goes for those course at goat...why bother working as a teacher/turor if you can just leave your money to work for you as big shot investor.
Regarding contradicting reviews....it may be that over years of pretending to be something that he is not but maybe dreamt of beeing (a financial guru)....he actually picked up a few things along the way. And that is why a lot of his videos have helped beginners.
I for one only watch him for entertainement...is does have a soothing, charming, funny style. In the end, this is what youtube is supposed to be: entertainement. No serious real professional offers courses in an official capacity on youtube. For that, look up skillshare or Udemy or whatever!
35:40 - The Contradictions: "One Stock" vs 50-Stock Watchlist
37:08 - The Word Document: How To Find 80% Probability Trades
Something about non stop phone calls with rude employees of his and non stop text messages trying to sell his program is irky and concerning to me. Like others said, if he is so successful, why intensely pressure people to buy his course?
39:49 - Real Example: The Walgreens Trade (Not SPY Like He Promised)
41:29 - Why Selling Call Spreads After A Drop Collects No Premium
Found this while doing research to determine if I should sign up to his Goat academy. Despite the fact that I like the info he puts out, there was always something off about him, it didn't make sense why he was going so hard at selling his course, if his trading profits is funding his lifestyle, then why basically spam peoples emails with 'newletters' and in his free webinars that takes place SO frequently, he spends most of the time selling his academy or one of his tools. Now that I see this, it definitely seems like he's just a salesman

Felix is one of the most knowledgeable people on the entire Internet. I have made a pile of money off of his advice. I bought gold and silver months ago when he recommended it and now they are both spiking. I joined his school, I will give a review of that after the year is over. But so far my impression is that it is a little unorganized, but the material is top-notch. I have 11 months to go before I can give an honest critique of his school.

His classes cost about $2000 to $10,000 for 6 months. Someone that wants to help others wouldn't be charging that much. He must be making his money on coaching and not investing. What he says was interesting but it just gave me ideas to explore on my own.

This training program is ridiculous. the website is the worst I've seen. There is no real "training program". It is a huge waste of time and money. There is valuable information available but it is so poorly organized it takes months to unravel what to do or how to navigate this "training program".
DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN THIS PROGRAM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I did everything possible and got no where.

I find it confusing how he and his wife Kelly keep everything so separate and private. Kelly has all these pics of Winston and their animals on her sites but never Felix/Nikolas... very strange
Also he's Managing Director of Vina Maria wines but never mentions that

Dude, thank you for the insight. Kind of disappointed Felix is just another spook like the rest of them. I did have the usual inkling of why anyone would be wasting time on videos if they were making millions investing. Could you make videos explaining the terminology and techniques of high finance, banking, fund management. You went into it here, but still way over my head. Something at the level for a 10 year old. Looking forward to some great videos. Cheers.
Funny side note - You'll never believe how I found your channel. I'm sure his Investment Reports are fully AI generated, and he has no idea what's in them. Because your video was listed in the references !!
or legal advice.

Thank you for this important video 👍🏼I never subscribed for anything – luckily – but I must say he‘s not the worst stock picking advisor. I went into Palantir, SoFi, Energy Fuels and others reasonably early. His main inputs – keep out the emotions, stick to your investment plan, watch the sectors Wall Street buys into – are way better than the average joe out there. He looks and sounds like an artificially created public figur, so to avoid buying into any kind of sub on his channel might be common sense.

He wasnt trading options and you citisize him as if he is trading options
@TheEggroll4321Who cares? I follow Felix. I don’t care how he gets his information. I’ve been able to make a lot of money Office suggestions and I appreciate watching every morning at 9 AM. You gotta quit being a baby and jealous. Put your big boy pants on.
@Jim-u6cThank you! This helped me make a more informed decision about this course.
@jlist828985I totally disagree with you about Felix. My mother used to tell me if you don't have anything good to say about someone, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!
@gclepineHmmm I'm not sure I trust Felix but then again I'm not sure I trust this video either.
@quake2uWhat a load of Bollocks. Just looking at your "reviews" you seem to be targeting anyone that is in competition with you!! Who the hell are you anyway? I have zero issues with Felix.
@harleydavidson4254HAHAH OMG !!!!!!!!!!! listen , i'm a 40 year old, but I work in tech , I do not trade. Since September 2025 I started trading for the first time on my own, after analysing stocks since february 2025, I wasn't sur eif trading would be my thing. And even I commented on his videos why he was saying for people to buy Bonds when every single country were ditching US bonds , and then he said to invest in FCX when they recently had a mine incident on 8th September 2025, like yes "buy it in the dip". but that mine in Grasberg is in full production in 2027, and will only run partially from 2026. And then he was saying "Do not buy cheap stocks", yes partially true BUT, I watch Clive Thompson a retired REAL trader with 50 years of experience, who shows amazing cheap Silver & Gold mining stocks. If you want to invest in commodities these junior minors and exploeres is where you want to invest partially. Yes they are risky, but if you do your homework and research the company, THESE are the stocks that are bullish. I am so glad to know my gut feeling was right and his knowledge was educational , but the stocks he was pushing were just OFF.
@namenl2205Very dishonest video. Just to say to people that this channel is competing with felix, and also has a coaching program to sell to you guys. Keep in mind that this guy is trying to profit from Felix’s large audience by getting you to watch him instead.
At the beginning you show Felix talking about stocks, but You keep talking about options, but this video you show just a clip of is about stock picking, not options. You show him talking about stocks and pretend he is talking about options to say he is wrong, but in reality you are wrongly analyzing his video out of context and talking about a different subject than him to make him look bad. He even states clearly he doesnt talk about options in his videos because it’s tricky to understand for new investors. You are misrepresenting his video to negatively affect his channel and make views for yourself, and your own mentoring program. His stock picks are pretty good, but nothing new as somebody who has Benzinga or Seeking Alpha, or any good financial app gets such picks and much more. His breakout trading strategy is nothing new also, and is used by many traders. As for his program, i dont know, as i am not interested in anybodys coaching program, not yours, not Felix’s.
All mentoring programs are scammy if you want to learn finance read books.
I've done several hundreds of percent profit on multiple of Felix trades. You deserve to be sued for this video and I hope he does
@DOCTORREALESTyou sound like you know alot,ty if this is all true,im truly disappointed.i have grabbed a few good picks from him.
@ACbkpatriotHe gave me really very good tips and my shares are soaring. Thanks Felix I used his free videos on YouTube
@QC_masterHe’s not selling options he’s selling shares.
@GoFor_8Felix bots are active in the comments section
@combatcritiqueI think he seems to have improved since this video was made a year ago. Probably he got a better team?
Anyway, yeah the course is iffy as hell, but the information/news he gives is good in his youtube vids. I just put him on 1.5x speed and skip his course ads and animal crap.
But maybe it's cause it's been a big bull market this year and last, so was easy to make money anyway, we'll see.
