Temi, you are such a talented artist and often a pleasure to watch. I must say your negativity towards yourself can be overwhelming to be an audience to. I know artists tend to be hard on themselves but you unfortunately stand out in this area. God loves you. You have a gift of artistry and such a warm personality. Please be kinder to yourself. You deserve it.

Also, cheesecake is my favorite! I would say, red velvet is amazing when it's not just coloring, because red cacao is more subtle and tastes less alkaline than black or brown cacao, and the color SHOULD be coming from the cacao! Here in Quebec the original Joe Louis from Vachon are red velvet, and inspired by an olden days boxer if I recall... Just like the May west were called Mae west when she was alive, but they had to change once she died to avoid legacy fighting back for the name eyeroll Pretty sure the Joe Louis are just chocolate cakes with coloring tho ;_; But they're those disks with cream and it's submerged in chocolate - it,s too sweet for me ;_; The May west is the vanilla version of it. I'd rather have a croquette or a demi-lune, they're both vanilla cake, but the croquette has some sort of a coconut taste...

Also, those effects turned out so good! The foggy effect, I first thought she colored the backside of the page so the ink would bleed voluntarily, almost... I guess I really don't have a wide palette either, I once had to create brown out of thin air (blue, red, green, and a ton of shades of purple) but i finally have browns and peachy pinks, and several nude tones (the sharpie collection, and a collection of sepia and greys now! I didn't even have a colorless before that sepia and grey collection pack!)

My dear, i heard you again at the last technique tell you don't understand light - I have found that using chatgpt for a very complex page where i wanted to do stage lights with one behind the subject, one in front and side lights, i was able to first tell the engine i wanted to discuss a light situation in text only, described my scene and they made a pretty good light explanation for me to follow later on my page - you could cheat by taking a picture of the page and they'd even interpret the page for you but I think it would be a good way to just describe the scene and what you imagine it to be (cinematically, i know you cannot conjure images, but the story you wanna tell with light) - i'll try showing you what it did for me.

@NanodtikingWhat happened to the DTI video? 😭
@thegamerlinkonHi! I think your glass effect is better than the og..the blue at the end genius..im rewatching over and over because i wanna try SO much on a full page from Hikaru Kotz ..do you know her coloring books?im a cat lover so Naughty Cata is hilarious and fun to draw..All my past present cats are honored in those books of mischief 😂❤😻
@maiadion557I would say doing the background in a contrasting color would be so cool. Btw new subscriber here
@CodyandPenniesmamaMake a short with the techniques to try and their order. It will get you more views in the videos too. ❤
@tempest6781You made your life a lot harder by making the temple a sticker for sure! Still looks really good though!
@princessleatherfaceFor background I think would be good Brown/beige
@Ekaterina_akulYou should do one technique for video so you can do the whole page I think the vision is sometimes hard to see with so much on one page I do like the videos tho
@marquezjones994i have a really hard time with light too! Why does it have to be like rocket science? I don't understand rocket science...
@Dark_RivaeJust saw u on my sub page and was like "heeeeyyy its my girl!!" Haha. Love your content. Your so sweet and genuine. :)
@scifigeek14Honestly I love the sticker effect it's so pretty (´。• ω •。`)
@Animate89766youre so gorgeously beautiful 💖💖
@zuzom589I like the sticker and the glass the most. My least favorite is the velvet 😅
@Clumsy120I've seen tutorials for the foggy mirror effect and they color the entire space with the regular colors and then go over the foggy areas with a white colored pencil
@StardropStationeryCoI love all the techniques you try but, I think the effects are harder to see when they are all together. ❤
@JaxRo1367My favourite cake has got to be coffee cake.
@sarahlewis7669First of your videos I’ve seen but yep you got me subbed up. I can see your vision but just a little tip, when you outline your sticker go over all the black lines that would be under the sticker with a white pen or paint marker. It’s stops you focusing on those bits and you won’t miss any. I also have aphantasia. It helps me so much just by doing that.
@sarahlewis7669That is so ambitious trying those 4 techniques on one page! 😮 The sticker, velvet, and broken glass definitely can be done with something else. But the foggy is like the lighting one, easier as a full page... But, for me at least, I would have to make the sticker something in the foreground and the broken glass and velvet, specific items in the foreground. You, however, managed to pull it off!! 🤗 Bravo!! 👏👏
@Kreative_RainbowOh ! Nice painting. I love it 😮😊
@HannaJohn-q7xI think all these techniques are not suitable for every picture, which could affect the final grade. But you did everything like 10/10.
@scluunarThe sticker effect looks a lot better when you do it on something that overlaps things in the background so it looks stuck on top of the page. The two cat statues in the image would've been perfect for it because there's so much detail around them. The building was too big in the image for it to come out like the trend looks but I still liked your version. I love that you just go in with your own creativity and experiment. ❤❤
@natb9919Omg! Temi!! I was waiting for another video like this :3
@Lalafloopsie4:33 I love your work you’re very talented! But I do have to point out. I’m pretty sure the bunches behind the building are trees not clouds..
@MinnesotaRainYou said you hadn't done any other clothing types, but what about stitching??
@munkeecTbh I love these kinds of videos but I click on these then click off because your not doing a whole page for each I think you could get more views…
@tatumlarson3384Loved this video! But I have an unrelated question, I LOVE your halter top and was wondering what brand and if you still wear any type of bra for support? Because as someone with a large chest 🍒 myself, I can’t always wear halters because my bra shows and the only non strap bra I have barely supports them </3
@vasdawn7792Love your videos
@Lacy56j7I have been thinking for so long where do u buy the book?😅
@Sparkle4allLooks beautiful
@gleeknomatterwhat8958My favorite was the broken glass. I'd love to see you try the ghost characters. I found it quite challenging and so satisfying.
@mary_catherine2554I really like the sticker effect and I really want to try it, I’m missing a white paint marker but hopefully I can find one! 😊
@Brocolli_Pizzai think the sticker style tutorial was WAY too complicated! i would recommend just colouring the way you would do normally and anything that you want to have the sticker style, you just outline with white and then shade (or outline with a darker colour) the white outline! given the circumstances yours turned out great though <3
@knifemarepoko2996Hi I am new
@Thelma-l3t3iMy parents actually both hate red velvet cake, it's actually wack cause red velvet is bussin
@-__-55555Gurrrrrrrllll the sky is the most beautiful part of
@MarcusChristnerI think those clouds you colored in the first page were supposed to be trees weren’t they? But I think it turned out beautiful!! ❤
@LeeLee86The shattered glass effect looks so cool ! Seeing you try out all those techniques makes me want to buy a colouring book and try it myself. Since my vacation is approaching, I might do it soon ;)
I'd rank them :
1. Shattered glass
2. Fog
3. Stickers
4. Velvet
Ayy more art techniques
@PrecuredolliThe velvet was my favorite! And it would be cool if you did one of the cute animal pages and tried to make it as realistic as possible!!
@Cherryyfairryy12:10 I absolutely was not trusting the process or you, and I apologize, Temi. The white pen absolutely gave the effect of shattered glass.
@Mater_LachrymarumWhen blending alcohol markers you need to start with the lighter color.. then you lay down the darker color against it. Then you will grab the the lighter color again and go over it. Repeat this process with both colors.
Now if they are no where close on the color wheel then you will want to grab an in between color that can make both less harsh. So if it’s pink and blue then maybe grab a darker shade of pink and plop that in the middle of the two shades. Over the pink and dark pink blend the colors by going over some of the dark pink with the lighter one. You maybe have to go back and forth with the two colors several times until it’s blended. Do the same with the darker pink and the blue ♥️♥️ if that’s confusing then I can definitely make a video for you and email it to you 🥰 just let me know!
