@17:08 Peasants don't get to ride mounts. You need to earn you way through the ranks before you can mount, that's the whole philosophy of the game. What you see is what people have earned not just being given for doing 1 fart quest in an expansion that no one ever plays anymore.

Ouch!! my first toon was human, so I knew about the Tram, therefore, I only suffered the Wetlands death gauntlet, when taking my night elf to Stormwind. But your route was absolutely heroic man. Props.

@zugdsbtngizudsgbnudsdsoiuRunning around like that in the world reminds me of my early days back in vanilla WoW. It was so much fun to me to explore and look for paths to places. I ended up in Light's Hope at level 25 or so. I died a lot but still enjoyed myself somehow.

Played a human warrior, got flamed
Tried a night elf druid... aka nature warrior, since bear is probably the best leveling form for such a long time lol
There is a train that goes between iron forge and stormwind ….. could have skipped most of that

But somehow by doing this u get the amazing night elf zones and get to enter stormwind the best way.
To get you to go to Stormwind and not say about the tram… diabolical… what a friend 😂

@DoubledeepfriedYour friend is cruel but I had a great time watching, it was very entertaining. The nelf to stormwind (sw) run is a right of passage so to speak, we have all done it.
Now that you have the right of passage complete, future reference there is a train in ironforge that will take you to sw so you can skip the worst part of that run.
I hope you have more episodes of your wow journeys coming out soon.
The ironic thing about what was said on the character choice is that in this case, human would be a really good choice just for the starting zone and surrounds being so well designed by comparison to other races. Probably a good call to not be a warrior though, warrior isn't noob friendly at all in classic.

@AkiRa22084I just started the demo for retail yesterday and while i love the vibes of wow retail just felt so... weird. I played ff14 and i love how you start at realm reborn and go up i disliked not starting from the beginning of wow.

@LolerstompGetting escorted to Stormwind by guildies on the same path as you back in 2004 felt like the fellowship of the ring, one of my first memories of the game.
Edit: okay I was thinking Deeprun Tram but this was pure masochism holy hell. I respect the grind though, making mistakes like this happened a LOTTTTT back then.
I must comment you for sticking it out. I probably would have quit on the 6th death.

@TheMadeofhonorSo why didn't you asked your friend how to get to Stormwind ? Once you are in Ironforge take the tram and bam 5 minutes journey took you bizzilion deaths and running....

@elifunal9749You took the most insane path to Stormwind imaginable... I think in classic the boat from Auberdine to Stormwind is active, but even if not, you can go from Menethil Harbor to Ironforge and ride the tram...

@JimalcoatlI appreciate you trying Classic and giving it a good go, but your friend totally set you up to fail here. Your experience started off fantastic and it was genuinely great to watch, until you got that bad advice. Such a shame. I hope you can give it another go sometime.

@JonDough01lol. When I first played WoW Vanilla (2005) I was fairly new to gaming. Everything was so real to me every time I quested I jumped when attacked, lol, as if it was real. 😂 We did every quest in each zone before moving on.
@barbarakrusen7777seems like if they came up with a FTP version you would get all those people who play on illegal servers back and figure out how to get money from them after. i enjoy diablo 2 because it resets on a seasonal time line. if they came out with a seasonal reset like arc raiders with rewards where everyone resets because thats the type of server it is but if you did reset quest before (lvl 60?) you get that seasons reward and they stack up. just dont feel its worth 15$ a mounth and they dont have a way to target power creep that happens later like diablo 2 has seemed to figure out.

@y00m1lkmen5One of my biggest memories was the Wetlands run, but yours definitely takes the cake—I kept saying, “Stay on the road,” lol. What made it harder is that the servers are so dead now. Back in the day, I imagine someone would have spotted you and offered help, or you could’ve just chatted in general. I wonder if anyone ever tried the other direction through Barrens etc so their first trip to SW risked being flagged and camped lol.
